I live in the Richmond, Virginia area and have been taking gravestone photos for over 3 years after I discovered what a great tool a digital camera is for that kind of work. I am trying to photograph as many of the cemetries as I can in the area. I also take my camera whenever I travel and and usually end up with photos from some distant cemeteries.
I am the volunteer coordinator for the clean up of Evergreen Cemetery in Richmond. Please contact me if you are interested in helping with the clean up effort.
The vast majority of the gravestone pictures that I've entered are of people I don't know. I've entered them to help others. If you'd like me to fix, add to, and/or delete any of your family members please email me and I'll make the change as quickly as possible. If you would like a copy of the original picture, let me know and I will be glad to email it to you.
If you would like me to transfer an entry to you, please let me know. I will be glad to do that.
