I am just here, making a small footprint, creating memorials and photographing burial sites.
Due to the hostility and negativity about contributors, I am firmly asking to give proper credit when using my Cemetery photos! They aren't yours for the taking, but they are yours to share with credit!
My family line is: Smith of IN; Klein of LA; Carpenter of LA; Van Auken of IN; Van Wormer of NY (etc); which we all know....leads to many others :)
Please leave a flower for my mother, June; Father, Jack; and my two sisters, Kay Rose and Gwen ~ Thank you!
I will not transfer family members or close friends, unless it is a mandatory. If you want a transfer, please explain your relationship and all requests will be considered individually.
This is not a game for me and I am not here to "rack up the numbers" either. If you think I have a lot, think again.
If you ask me to include information on a memorial, please explain your sources. I've spent many hours trying to correct errors on my own family members and I'd prefer not to be the one who spreads misinformation on anyone else's family members. Thanks, in advance, for understanding.
And, last but NOT least, don't cry or complain on my wall. That's what my email is for, besides it is rude to leave ugly messages. I'd prefer to discuss an issue rather than try to communicate via wall postings..ugly will result in no communication whatsoever and get neither of us anywhere...
Thank you very much,
Charlotte Smith Muir

You are very welcome.
|Judie ||Re: Flowers/Tokens|
Yes, I'm in SE Louisiana. I didn't make it to the veterans cemetery, but I did hit a local cemetery...all the veterans' graves had little American flags. If some contributor is griping because of flowering the memorials, I really pity that person. Find A Grave has some of the most prettiest flowers/tokens that are contributed by the members. I normally check daily to see what I can add to my scrapbook, I have over 500 saved so I can always find an appropriate one to add to the memorials. Another thing, I carry a bouquet of silk flowers to add to a grave before I photograph. Some of these graves may not had flowers since the burial date. Sad, but true. I also take my time with the "Flowering Project" on Find A Grave's forum. This is flowering all the memorials created by a fallen graver.

I ran across your name while updating memorials & saw you had left flowers on one of the veteran's memorials. My goal for Veterans' Day is to make a trip & photograph the whole Veteran cemetery as I did a year ago. OMG, I now have at least 300 photos to take or retake (some from just FHM), this alone is telling how fast WWII, Korea & Vietnam veterans are passing.
Anyway, just to let you know I flowered your mom, dad & sister's memorials + a few more.
Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave.

|Mrs Fenton||RE: William Williford|
Thank you for double checking that for me! These Williford's would be distant cousins of my husband's. I don't see a need to transfer. If I run up on any other obituaries or information, I'll be sure to send the edits. I have not come across anything on his wife yet...
And thank you for accepting edit information and for all you do on this website. This has been one of my biggest resources as I track our family tree. My goal is to get us all on here! My goodness, you don't know how large of a family you have till you start adding them :-)
|Barbara Munson||RE: Photo Please|
Are you sure Rose is on the headstone? I photographed and transcribed the entire section, and I did not see her name on the tomb. I'll email you the list of everyone on the marker; it won't paste well into this message box.
|Barbara Munson||RE: Photo Please|
RE: Denechaud - I added the photos to the memorials, and I also added the caption that there are no markers for the two of them on the family tomb.
I did a search for Mrs. Denechaud's obituary and found two different ones. I'll email them to you.

Just a note to let you know that I had already created a memorial for my great aunt, Mary Ruth (Miller) Young Gompf # 134778235. I have links to her family on my memorial. Would you be so kind as to delete your duplicate.
|Monika Cantrell||Kathryn Marie Dronet Pauley #113210003|
Thank you for the family links, they have been added. If you would like a transfer of this memorial, please let me know.
|JoanofKent||Thanks for the correction|
on Dr Cress and his wife. If you would like me to transfer his page to you just let me know.
|melody ||RE: May Memorials|
