Bio Photo The Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you"
Please don't create duplicates when you know another memorial was created first. If there is an error in cemetery or info, be courteous and contact the original contributor. You'd want that gesture offered to you too.

About death certificates - I ask politely that you PLEASE don't post any DC's or other documents to my memorials. I like to honor their life and history. My humble opinion is that their death is a personal/private matter for not only the deceased but also the family/descendants. I do welcome any photos of the individual so we can see them when alive.

About photos, if another contributor has posted gravestone photos to one of my memorials, please do not post any duplicates. thank you for that!

We are ALL part of this magnificant GIANT historical jigsaw puzzle!

I always have and still do love puzzles. And I have been bitten by the genealogy research bug for years! Better than fiction!

I am NOT involved with findagrave for the numbers. I research every person for whom I create a memorial for accuracy and in an attempt to include as much information as possible.

Whenever possible, I also try to link family members. I feel that is most important and a way to have them all 'reunited.'

This is a marvelous venue to not only recognize, remember and HONOR those who have passed before us, but also to assist families in the future in finding their ancestors and hopefully even seeing a photo of their headstone.

My sincere thanks to all findagrave contributors and photographers for all you have done for me and the entire findagrave community! It takes a village!

For the MOST part, the cooperation and sharing on this site are tremendous and heart-warming.

A special thanks to contributor peace4me- she is a prolific and wonderful photo contributor and a super nice person to work with! She is incredible with photos in Wheeling West Virginia and beyond!

Remember: be kind to one another!

Thanks for the correction of the link...That would be hard to be born a year after your father died! I'll have to find the son soon.

RE: Hubbards in Greenwood
HI! I have not been very active but intend to start a little more now that I am retiring. The Hubbard's you found are my family. My Dad included. I will have to add some info one of these days. I have many relatives down the road at the cemetery near Wheeling Park. I can't remember it's name!!! :( Thanks for getting in contact with me.

I don;t know of a book, but I am sure there probably is one, maybe you can try the genealogical society for Harrison and Jefferson counties, they may have one.

RE: Tolbert
Thank you for the kind words. I truly believe we are like sprits. I was raised on Ephesians 4:32 to be kind to one another. Even though it is not always returned.

Lippincotts & Nichols
Hi Genieresearcher,

Yes, I am descended from the Lippincotts & Nichols. My mother, Margaret (Scott) Arnold was the daughter of Beulah Lippincott (Porter) d/o Charles & Anna (Dawson) Lippincott s/o William & Rachel Rosanna (Nichols) Lippincott, etc. William is the son of John & Margaret (Johnson) Lippincott of Licking County, OH. Are we cousins?

I would be happy to host those sites if you no longer wish to do so.

I feel the same way about reuniting families.
Love the mystery... You are very welcome, I just figured I would want to know myself, so figured you would also...

RE: Isaiah Tucker stone photo
Hi, I'm sure if there had been anything on the other side I would have seen it and photographed it as well. I'll be back over that way when the weather improves. It's a very, very old cemetery and I've unburied several stones there that had been grown over. I plan to go back and see what else I can find. I'll try to find her.

Louis Ebeling b. 1814
Do you think it's possible that the Louis Ebeling in Mt. Zion and the one in Mt. Wood are being confused as one person?
While working on my Ebeling's I found a couple that I believe are duplicate people and perhaps really different families even though they are linked as the same family. It looks like the one died 1877 and buried in Mt. Wood is married to Carolyn Mundt and the one buried in 1877 in Mt. Zion is married to Jenkins. Feel free to contact me if you have info to sort these families out.

Daniel A. Wood & family
Thank you for letting me know of the pictures you posted of Daniel and his family "reuniting" on Find a Grave. I myself, along with my husband (who is Daniel's gggreat grandson) visited the family and took pictures. I just have not had the time to post them. So again thank you. We have the civil war medal of honor certificate hanging on our wall that Daniel received. I may post a picture of that on Find a Grave as well.
