Bio and Links
Bio Photo This began as searching for my husband's family. Then I began my own search as so many others do. I currently have a database of over 100,000 names, all starting with my name. I have a large collection of names from Dent Co., MO cemeteries.

I am a Warden through Hendrie Warden of Scotland through my great-grandmother, Rose Ellen Warden of Dent Co., MO. I am married and have 2 children, 1 son-in-law, 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and am currently working in a high school. Researching helps you find who you are and in turn can help others do the same. If you think about it, just imagine one person from your direct line missing, would you be here? And what sacrifices have been made for your life?

Any corrections that can be documented, please feel free to email me @ address below.

My main family names are Walthall, Warden, Copling, Carkuff, Bickel, Burkholder. My husband's are Nolan, Landrum, Rogers (from Arkansas/Texas), Cooper and Walker (New York).

Good luck with your search.
Tammy Cooper

RE: Center Church Graveyard
I don't know if she is still doing this, but, you might check with Denise Ommert at

She is not to far from the Newville area.

RE: Find A Grave Changes
No, you didn't miss an email from Find A Grave; I guess they think we should read their Q&A everyday and I don't do that. So, this is my way of networking to let others know.

Find A Grave Changes
A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent an edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

RE: Fredonia Gamblin Warden
Did a little research on the family, seems there were 3 children. Fredonia and William were married on March 8, 1911 and had...

Howard age 18 in 1930
Violet age 14 in 1930
Dorothy age 11 in 1930

RE: Fredonia Gamblin Warden
Hi Tammy, I wish I could help you, but I really don't have any more info on Fredonia. As far as I know she didn't have any children (or any that I've found yet). I'll try to do a little more research on that line and if I come up with anything, I'll let you know.

Anna (Burkholder) Diller
Dear Tammy,

How delightful to hear from you and to learn that your great great grandmother was also a Burkholder. Actually, Anna (Burkholder) Diller, Find A Grave Mem# 30876480, was my maternal great grandmother. I am sure you have seen and read her memorial. So have you done enough research on your Burkholder ancestors to know exactly how we might be related? I am just curious about this because I have not done enough research on the Burkholder families in Pennsylvania to sort out relationships (and I am looking for a shortcut!). I would enjoy sharing information. Mike

RE: Lulu heckendorn
Tammy - I am 100% sure where I found the stone. I think for Find A Grave it should be changed to the cemetery I found it in. You might want to note that your records show it was in Center Church graveyard.

Hi Tammy, strongly suspect your 2 Smith requests are for another cemetery. There are no burials as recent as yours. jeannie
