I'm happy to make changes, but know that I'm going to ask you for a source, if it's not directly on the stone. The internet is a wonderful thing for genealogists but it's also very good at spreading misinformation, and I am trying very hard not to spread undocumented genealogy. That's one of the reasons I love Find a Grave, because I can look directly at a gravestone and see exactly what it says and don't have to depend on second and third hand information. Happy hunting.|
PLEASE use the EDIT tab for suggestions, corrections and transfers. Thank you.
PHOTOS OF GRAVESTONES. Please feel free to use mine, that's why I took them. I do like to get credit, though. "ASB"
PHOTOS OF PEOPLE. I've posted them to be enjoyed by visitors to Find a Grave. I was a little taken aback to see my mother's photo on Ancestry. So you're welcome to use them, for your personal use, but I would appreciate it, if you would avoid posting them to other internet sites.

Thank you for the information. I also thought they were both the same cemetery. The moves have been made.

Hey, you might be right! Definitely looks like a 9 rather than a 3. I'm not related but I did quite a bit of research on the family after finding a pack of journals in an antique store written by Adin B Davis in the 1850's.
Are you related?

If you look really carefully at the gravestone, it looks like there was an I and it just got damaged. There is not room for there ever to have been an E there. I am going to the State Library, they have a copy of the Southbridge vitals and take a look. I think I would have had the source when I was there, but would like to see the book again. Nancy

May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Capt. Daniel Lyon (memorial #46084796)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your hard work and consideration.

ASB, Thank you for the info, but I was already aware of Joe Sr. and Jeanette's passing, I never created a memorial because as you must have noticed the front is plastered with what I think are tacky pictures, Obviously you felt the same because ironically you only photographed the obverse side of the stone which is atypical. regardless, I have linked Joe Jr. to his parents that was not created at the time of Joe Jr's passing.
Thank you for the heads ups.

Just wanted to say thank you for the find a grave photo request.
I actually used to live Connecticut. Don't miss the winters.
Again, thank you.
