Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing family history for many years.I got an early start as my mother would take our older relatives to Homecomings and I tagged along. I loved the cemeteries and the stories of the folks resting there. My Jones family immigrated to the Mass/CT area in the 1630s, moved on to NY, and then came south to LA and MS in the mid 1800s. My husband's family is mostly located in TN and AL.If you find errors on any of my entries, I will be happy to and want to make changes. If we are related, drop me an email.

William Windsor Pipes
Ancestry lists his death on Dec. 12, 1914. I could not find anything in the newspaper archives concerning his obit or place or burial.

Added Nannie's short obit from 1893 to her memorial. Looking for her husband but no luck yet...

Just read your great grandmother's obit who passed away in Mississippi in 1927. How tragic and sad.

RE: Charles Welshans
You are very welcome. Always defer to family members. I usually add the memorial and then when I have time, I go back and research the person to add pertinent information to the memorial page.

I transferred the memorials you requested. However, I discovered after the transfer that there are duplicate memorials listed in the Smith Cemetery. I went to the Lackey Cemetery for a friend so I know the name of the cemetery for the memorials I created is Lackey. I am not familiar with the Smith Cemetery. It could be the same one. I don't know how to find out if there really is a Smith Cemetery and where it is located. Perhaps findagrave could help you.
