Bio and Links
Bio Photo Many people do not understand our passion for recording graves and cemeteries.
I try to record information correctly, but I make many mistakes. Thank you for spotting them and letting me know. I will transfer ownership if the departed is not directly related to me and wish others to show me the same respect. If you send a request and I fail to respond, please resend the request.
Please do not use my photos for financial gain or publication unless you request first.
I submit those who have gone before us as an honor, a memory to be cherish. I do not wish to hurt or offend. I am drawn to veterans graves, graves of children and unusual gravestones. Findagrave allows me to visit my family's graves within the privacy of my home.
Lost cemeteries and fallen, worn stones need to be recorded for those who follow, searching for their ancestors. If I have helped one person on their quest, I will feel this has not been in vain.

RE: Arlene Moll Brushy Grove
I tried to reply yesterday while out of town, but don't believe it went through. Sorry if this is a duplicate posting. Yes, Arlene Bailey Moll was my great aunt. She and my grandmother, Ruth Bailey Lanpher, were sisters. Are you related as well?

RE: Hickman, Sarah
I have no Poppenhouse but do have George Washington St. Clair, Jr. married to Sarah Jane Hickman and their 5 children. I have spouses for three of the children but no children listed for any of them. That indicates that I probably had the info but did not enter it. I have two of Sarah's children named William. William Lawson and William Estel one or maybe both married Cora Florence Brigance. I haven't figured that out yet. I guess Carmen is the daughter of one of these. Please enlighten me. Charles

RE: Hickman
Only distantly. I am researching and linking up the Hickman's and Boyd's at the request of my 1st cousin's wife, Mavis Boyd Tobler in Spiro, Oklahoma. Her mother was Janie Josephine Hickman who would be Sarah's grand niece.

RE: Middleton Broom
He is my great-great uncle- if that counts you can transfer him. By all means, transfer Mabel and Henry David along with him. My #48457746.

There were twelve children, several others are buried in Oakridge cemetery. However, my great-great grandmother, Effie Broom Conroy Reitzel, is buried elsewhere. I have pictures of a lot of them, including M Warren and Mabel..

I have an original copy of that Life magazine and of the Effingham newspaper. Quite a story- Mabel was in the hospital for pneumonia so the story goes. She died in her sleep.

I also have an original obituary for Henry David.

Gotta love family lore!
Thanks-

RE: Beulah Morgan
Yes, your husband and I share this same ancestor. Beulah Morgan French was my 2nd great grandmother and her parents Arthur & Sarah Harding Morgan were my 3rd great grandparents.

RE: Nancy
Thanks. I wonder if she could have married a Dish and they quickly divorced or maybe he died soon after getting married. I'll have to look more into the Dish thing.

Nancy R O'Haver
I saw that you maintain the memorial for Nancy R O'Haver-Isreal. Where did you obtain the info that she was an O'Haver? I found in the marriage records that John Isreal married a Nancy Dish in 1972 not O'Haver. Nancy was still living with her mother in 1970. It's possible she married a Dish and he died, but I can't find a record of Nancy marrying a Dish. Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!
