Her passion was genealogy, she loved it! For years my mother researched; wrote letters; purchased b/m/d certificates. She was known as a great genealogists by our entire family. The computer was intimidating to her, but daddy always said "There's never been a computer built that could match your mamma's memory." He was right! We kids thought her passion for the dead was silly. Then when my mother-in-law passed away, I realized that my husband's family history went to the grave with her. I started searching for info on my grandfather & an uncle...I got hooked, BIG TIME! Needless to say, mother was thrilled that I was finally interested in genealogy. We'd talk for hours on the phone about this one & that one. Mother wanted me to get everything she had gleaned, entered on the computer. Then 2 months ago I found this website & started entering everyone's data. I'd print the pages & mail them to mother for her proofing & approval. I never dreamed that just two months later I'd be memorializing my mother here. What little bit of work I'd done on FAG before mother passed away was rewarding. However, I found it healing to enter her biography & honor her memory. I'd be thrilled to have you visit my mother's (Wynona Thomas) memorial. Thank you, FAG for this forum to honor our loved ones. In the 2 months I've been entering data here, I've had several volunteers take photos of my loved one's tombstones & share them with me. Thank you all for this wonderful gift. If I can assist anyone with photos, please let me know.|

|Carol Jones||Granville Jones|
I notice that you manage the memorial for Granville Jones who is buried in Desdemona Cemetery. I suspect he may be a distant cousin of my great-grandfather, Crawford Frances Jones, who is buried nearby, but none of my Jones relatives know of a kinship. Now I'm suspecting, because of supporting DNA evidence that there is likely a connection between these Jones families. I'm contacting you in hopes that you might have some information about Granville and his relations.
Thank you, Carol Jones (great-great granddaughter of Crawford Francis Jones)
Hi Linda. I have made the link you requested! Yes, Rosa Belle and Aunt Josephine Sutton were sisters. Josephine's husband, Ancil Thomas was the brother of my grandfather, Labin Gilbert Thomas. So I suppose we are cousins by marriage. I am in close contact with another cousin of yours..actually two cousins of yours. If you'd like to contact them; email me and I let them know. Blessings!
Very nice to meet you. I have actually come across two cousins accidentally on ancestry.com. I'm wondering if the cousins you referred to are Vondia and Diana. If there are more cousins out there (and I know there are many) I'd like to know about them. I couldn't find a way to email you.

In the information given I see that Elizabeth was married to John Riley Cornelison. The grave stone says John J. John Riley would be my husband's great great grandfather. We are interested in visiting his grave but wanted to make sure this was the right person. Can you explain the discrepancy? Thanks for you help. trueblue

On her memorial page, you have her name wrong. It's Tamber Heady, not Tamara. Thanks.

Hi Carolyn. I had contacted Pat also. She is supposed to be buried in Andice Cemetery in Williamson County, Tx. I have not been to that cemetery, but her grave is not listed anywhere that I know of. This information came from some family members. Martha
