Marsh Family
I added Lawrence and Marie, Henry T, Thomas and Margaret. I did see three small headstones but at the time I didn't know which family they belonged to. I am starting to wonder after I read what you posted and also infants names on the cemetery site. I will go back and take the pictures and see if the dates add up...

Thank you so much for such a helpful memorial! He is my husband's 3G grandfather. I am just beginning to do research on this family, and the info you posted is a gold mine!

McBain information
Hi Nancy,
Thank you for posting all the information and adding Hannah's memorial. I realized after your wrote back that I had the wrong "siblings" in mind. If at any time you feel it is too much information, please feel free not to use it. It will not hurt my feelings. I wanted to let you know that Daryle and Jean are not buried in Fort Wayne with Anna and Jim Landis. The plaques are a memorial to them. They both died during flu epidemics and were living with their parents in Mishawaka. I think they are buried in the City of Mishawaka Cemetery. Will check with family members soon to find out. Hannah went by the name "Anna". On Jean Landis' last name it says "Lantis". I will look for pictures to post, but I am sure we do not have any on the Ammerman/McBain side. Maybe other family members have some. I will check.

Anna's sibling information:
Fannie McBain (1875-1956) and James Edward Gray (1870-1956)were married November 16, 1897 at the Hamilton Church. They are also buried there according to the Michigan, Deaths and Burials Index 1867-1995. Fannie's burial date is June 2, 1956.

Helen McBain (1875-1941)and William (R.or C.) Grubbs (1873-1949). I can find no records on their deaths or burial, just information from other ancestry trees. Some say Helen died in New Carlisle, St. Joseph Co., Indiana and some say Three Rivers, St. Joseph Co. Michigan.

Leona McBain (1877-1951) and Robert Bert Massey (1871-1951). I can find no records on their deaths or burial, just information from other ancestry trees. I do know that besides Vernon, they had another son Dale born in 1923. They lived in Mishawaka. Leona's husband went by his middle name Bert.

These fellow Find A Grave contributors might have more information on these 3 sisters. Susan Dawn (Kelley) Spencer and Katrina (Kelley) Bohlin. Both are Mary Jane (McBain) Kelley's great granddaughters. They have added memorials and pictures to their grandfathers Roland and Clyde Kelley as well as their great uncle Don Kelley and others.

RE: Re: McBain correction.
Hi Nancy,
Here is some extra information. Manasseh William Landis (1868-1942), Effie O'Dell Isenberg (1872-1946). Both are buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Huntington, IN. Hannah (McBain) Landis died in 1981 at Hamilton Grove Communities and she and James Landis are buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne, IN. Bernice (Landis) Thompson (1917-1992) died in Fort Wayne and is buried along side her husband at New Carlisle Cemetery. His name was George Arthur Thompson (1912-1968). Myla June Landis was born in 1925 and is still living. Her husband, Rev. Theodore William Snider (1929-1992) is buried in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Marjorie (Landis) Kitt (1927-2009) died at Hamilton Grove Communities and is buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne. Have a good Fourth of July!
Yours, Beth

McBain correction
Hi Nancy,
Thank you so much for all the wonderful research you have done and shared. My husband is the grandson of James Gordon Landis and Hannah Ann (McBain) Landis. In Harriet (Ammerman) McBain's bio #20371871 you listed her children. Please change Myla Jane (Landis) Snider to Myla June under child #7 Hannah Ann (McBain) Landis. James and Hannah also had 2 sons: Daryle Clifford Landis (1915-1917) and Jean Maxwell Landis (1918-1919).
Thank you again,

Charles Bishop
Hi Nancy,

If I remember correctly several years ago I helped you obtain some information on the James & Lucy Bishop family. Today I found an obituary for their son Charles Bishop & posted it to his memorial. Thought you might like to read it, although it doesn't give much family information, it does state quite a bit about his character. It's really quite nice.
