|I have been interested in genealogy for quite some time resulting in the writing and publishing a book on our father's side, a dream come true for my sister and I |
I will be happy to take a picture for anyone that is interested in the St. George, Utah area.

Do you know the address of this cemetery?
|GARY THORNTON||Margaret Wilson Thornton|
Thank you for the photo,
this means a great deal to me because she was my aunt and I have been trying to find her resting place.
Also, I now know her husband's nickname, "Thunder", what a hoot.
He was my dad'd older brother, and I don't remember knowing that little tidbit.
Thank you so much for the picture of Melvin Thornton and his wife!
I especially appreciate how quickly you responded.

I went back to Calvary armed with copies of the Paulinsky death certificates. The lady there today was not the same one who was there last week and she didn't seem enthused. However, after at least 20 minutes in the back room, she was able to find both grave locations. The names were both misspelled, and each one differently. She said she will correct the spelling in the computer.
Michael is in Section 105, lot 25, grave 2.
Katherine is in section 59, row 34, grave 1479.
Unfortunately, neither grave is marked.

The death certificates do clearly say Calvary.

Hi. Today I went to Calvary Cemetery to look for Katarina and Mike. According to the cemetery office, there are no Paulinksys buried there. I had the lady look for Pavlis but the closest thing was Pavlish. She also tried just Paul with no success. She did say that if I had the exact date of death (I only wrote down the year) she could look in the internement record and see who was buried on those dates. I have printed out the death certificates and I will try again the next time I go there.
