I have spent the last 10 years documenting cemeteries in the Beallsville/Scenery Hill/ Centerville area of Washington Co., PA - specifically Beallsville Cemetery and several Hill family cemeteries. Most of the photos I've taken can be located at www.beallsvillecemetery.org along with scanned images of interment records, lot owner books, plotmaps, obituaries, photos, for Beallsville Cemetery. There are 8000+ burials in the cemetery so I continue to build and add to the website.|
I have been adding memorials to this site for Beallsville cemetery, using a combination of interment records and tombstone inscriptions. I've noticed that some of the dates that are listed in the interment listings as death dates are actually burial dates and may be off by a day or two. For burials that have no associated tombstone, I can only list what is in the cemetery records. If you have any corrections for the death dates or other related information, I'm happy to hear from you so I can correct the cemetery website.

Thank you Debbie, these must be similar to the PA death indices :
http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt?open=514&objID=1085804&mode=2 , but I haven't seen anything there before 1906. There's a lot of time spent scrolling ! We'll just keep looking.....Thanks Again, Don

Hi Debbie :
I've been searching for the Mother of James Kenneth Polk Hoover who is in Taylor Cemetery #136418843. She is Sarah (Chaney) Hoover b. about 1813, very similar to your Find A Grave Memorial# 131284062 in Taylor and they lived on East Pike run. The 1880 census shows her living with James and her age is about 68. Is there any additional information on the death cert that might help link them ? The cert is what I'm missing. Thank You !
|Marcia Lynne vonGunden||Transfer and a big thank you|
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Elsie Anna March Shumaker # 94218530
to my care. I have successfully connected her with parents, husband and three of her five children.
As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
|Elaine Lea Lewers||spouse of Mike Rebich|
Hi, Debbie! Could you possibly photograph the spouse of Mike Rebich (92370720)? I don't see a memorial page yet for her, so there's another one for your list.
Thanks for your help!
