Bio Photo I'm a retired computer programmer and live in Heard County, Georgia. While looking up my own family, I ran across this site and volunteered to take pictures. I'm interested in helping anyone within my area, but I'm especially interested in getting to some of the family cemeteries located on private property.

Any photos I take can be distributed freely.

Sorry to hear about your back, I went thru that last year. I wondered what happened to you, have not heard from you on Find A Grave. I will get the Franklin pictures on my way back home from Carroll County. Take care of yourself...Ed

Heard Co., Georgia Cemetery Photos
Mr. Smith -

Ed Elstan gave me your name. He said you are his go to person for photos in Heard Co., Georgia.

I recently posted two photo requests for Franklin City Cemetery in Heard Co. Is there any chance you might be able to fulfill them within the next couple of months. I know that cemetery needs lots of photos added - looks like many of the memorials were added by someone loading the work directly from Lynda Ayers cemetery book.

My husband's family has very deep roots in the area along in the GA/AL state line in Randolph & Heard counties. The cemeteries have become the best source for information since the courthouses in both counties burned.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Jackson Family
Tom,
Thank you so much for the grave marker photos of the Jackson family members. This is really amazing! I am still trying to find Joanna Jackson Robinson (member of same Jackson clan), and J. H. (Isaac) Robinson, my husband's 2nd great-grandparents. Is you see them during any of your searches, please let me know. Again, thank you and I truly appreciate your hard work and time taken to find all these grave markers.
Donna.

Thank you for the photograph of Millicent Frances Mauldin Mooty. We have been trying to get to the Woods family cemetery for quite some time.
We have gone to Franklin but were told it was hunting season.
We are so grateful.
