I've been researching family genealogy for many years and also upload local cemetery registers for the cemeteries in our county. |
I have no familial connection to most of the people I upload, so feel free to request transfers of your relatives. I only ask that you let me know how you're related to a family. Or if you have a decent reason, I'm good with that, too. If you'll take good care of a memorial, I have no problem transferring if you're not related.
While I have many memorials, I am not a numbers person. I would rather have family members maintain memorials.
I make updates very quickly, and usually do not reply back unless I have a question. I frequently will use the email provided in the edit to respond to a question. If your correction has not been made, please check to see if I've emailed, as I normally don't make the updates if I do not have the question answered.

**Please use the Edit feature on memorials over requesting changes in messages or sending emails. That really is the easiest and most efficient way to accomplish updates. Thanks!**

****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain memorials, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and are willing to take over management of the memorials. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates.
Right now, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have someone who has accepted stewardship over the memorials you added. Please send in their member number with your email. Feel free to contact me should you wish that someone maintain the memorials you have created. Thanks!*****

Death is only an old door
Set in a garden wall
On gentle hinges it gives, at dusk
When the thrushes call
Along the lintel are green leaves
Beyond the light lies still;
Very willing and weary feet
Go over that sill
There is nothing to trouble any heart;
Nothing to hurt at all.
Death is only a quiet door.
In an old wall.

|public name||RE: Olive Pierce Jones|
There is still positive evidence, in that the tentative Father, Joseph Jones memorial lists
Children: Eleanor A., Mary Ann H.,
Lydia Elmira, Margaret A., Olive R.,
Elizabeth S., Stephen J., Emily P.,
Richmond B., Margaret M., Lucy Maria,
So Olive L could be Olive R. I could pursue this contacting Donna J. Plamondon creator of Joseph Jones or the owner of the ancestry family tree. This is quite far removed from my family and from my area, so I would prefer to do nothing for now.
Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for your work.
Photo transferred. I only transferred one of the two photos since they were similar (and there was another image also on the page).
I'd like to suggest Hook should be Hooks for the memorial surname, and maybe put Elisha Hook / Elijah Hook in the bio or note section for a search engine to find.
From Help with Find A Grave: Memorial Naming Conventions -- "Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone" [to avoid having the listing duplicated].

(I tried to send this as an EDIT, but it kept giving me error messages)
You have 2 memorials for Elisha HOOK:
This one (#141639162) under Elisha HOOK, which has an obituary, but no burial location.
An earlier one (#91518219) under ELIJAH HOOKS, at Union Cemetery in Milladore. It has very little information on it. Also, the headstone states he served in the 3rd Wisconsin Cavalry - which is NOT true.
Whichever memorial you keep, you will want to consider adding this information:
Alternate spelling of first name: ELIJAH
Father: James HOOK
Mother: Ruth Ann DANIELS
Companies H & K, 91st Indiana Infantry
Company C, 124th Indiana Infantry
He enlisted as a resident of Paulding County, OH, on 24 Nov 1864 and was mustered out with the 124th Indiana Infantry on 31 Aug 1865.
1st Wife: Mary Elizabeth BALTZELL
Married 22 Aug 1861 in Paulding County, Ohio
2nd Wife: Margaret Ann BOYCE
Married 23 Nov 1902 in Carson, Wisconsin
She had been married twice before; first to George Russell and then to Alexander Spearman.
His county death record confirms that he died of "injury by cyclone". He was injured in Junction City, but died at a hospital in Stevens Point.
|Linda Windmoeller||Alfred Steinbach|
I would be happy to take over stewardship of #95834901 for Alfred Steinbach, as he is my uncle.
|Heather||name wrong on listing|
I appreciate that my grandmother's listing is on here. However, there is a correction that needs to be made to the name. Currently you have it listed as Anna Towne. It should be: Annie P. Towne. The rest of the information is correct.

|JOAN GUZMAN ADAMSHECK||# 134928230 Mary|
How is Mary #134928230 connected to Peter #84400536? I can't find Mary's name listed in the living mother's info. If Mary is a daughter, please transfer her memorial over to me so that I can care for the whole family.
Thank you, Joan
|Angel Marie Jacoby||Topping family|
Hi. Are you related to &/or researching the Topping family? Your Anna Biewer Topping (#103003901) & Floyd B. Topping (#103003906) are my cousin's aunt & uncle. I've just started searching out her branches of our family's tree for her.
Your Robert W. Topping (#103003910) might be their son, but I'm not quite certain he's the right one (yet!). Ernestine (#103003904) is Floyd's mother & the other Toppings are other relatively close relatives as well.
I have a fair bit of info to add on most of them. Would you mind transferring them over or would you prefer & send you the edits? Thanks!
Another transfer. # 74721973 - East Germany cemetery. Thank you so much. Amy

Yes, please forward me all the Schlichtings in Hillside. I'm in the process of researching them and would very much appreciate it if it's not too difficult. Thank you.
