Bio and Links
Bio Photo In the early 1980's, I curiously began searching for my ancestors. It has gone from curiosity to a passion all consuming. There is always something new to discover!! I owe it all to my BFF, Geneva!!
***********************
For those of you who sit in front of a cemetery book or a newspaper obituary column copying deaths into a cemetery, I truly feel sorry for you. For those of you who complain about those of us who have "Unknown Burials". I believe the name of this program is "Find A Grave". The hopes of family researchers is that some one some where will FIND our lost ancestor and may even find a tombstone of that loved one. As for me, I am so proud that this site has come about where I can share my family with others and hopefully find long lost family that I would never have found otherwise. Thank you, FindAGrave.

SURNAMES I AM RESEARCHING:
DYE --- JOHNSON.
WILLIAMS --- PARKINSON.
WEST --- SCOTT.
THOMPSON --- JIMMERSON.
FENWICK --- THOMPSON.
LANTOW --- RIVES.
********************************
If you come across someone I have entered in a cemetery that is your ancestor and you have pictures or a bio you would like to add, OR you would like a transfer, don't hesitate to contact me through the EDIT button. I will transfer if they are not related to me.
************************************
Please be advised that links and other data on memorials [other than those for my immediate family members] more often than not come from other Find A Grave members and/or guests and/or from Ancestry. It has come to my attention that edits/links are added within a matter of days, without my acceptance or denial. Please double check & verify all information before taking what you read as gospel.
LINKING NOTE: Too many errors have come up with people submitting "Edits". I will no longer change any memorial without a verifiable source being provided.
*************************************
PLEASE-NO death certificates on memorials I have created or manage!! Personal information should be kept personal.
*************************************
VOLUNTEER PHOTOGRAPHERS: I appreciate your enthusiasm in taking tombstone pictures in cemeteries, BUT I do not appreciate additional tombstone photos on memorials when there is already a clear tombstone picture for that memorial.
*******************************
FAMILY PHOTOS: I invite you to enjoy the family pictures posted, but ask that they not be copied and placed on any other website without my written permission.

Clairborne A Cook
It's me again. I got the obit! They spelled his name as above and the obit says that Gertie was his 3rd wife. Wonder who was #2? I'll have to keep looking. It also said he had 15 children!!

RE: Ancestry takeover
Kay, It gets complicated sometimes. I knew, that Ancestry and FindaGrave were working together. I did want to let you know, that no one is supposed to leave information on the flowers they leave for a memorial. If, you read Findagrave's inscructions, they do not allow it. You are only supposed to leave your grievance and name if, you choose. So, I have gone through my memorials removing facts. Hope, I didn't miss any. I will leave my memorials as is and hopefully others will check closely since, I have added so much information and links. Let me know if, I can help. Connie

Clayborn Cook
Hi again. I talked with my father in law, the Loveless(Dye) family historian/genealogist. Martha was his cousin. Clayborn Cook left his wife and 9 children for Campbellsville Kentucky and another woman.(Gertie??)He said that Martha considered Clayborn DEAD to her so therefore the Widow title. I have contacted the Taylor County Public Library today for an obit. I've been doing research myself on ancestry. I'll keep you posted.

Clayborn Cook
While doing some Loveless family research I came across Clayborn Cook #118717069. The bio states that he is the husband of Martha Bell Tanner/Cook. Thought you might be interested since you have a memorial for the same man. He is listed in Pine grove church cemetery Casey County Kentucky. On ancestry I found the death certificate for this man. He has the same parents but there is a wife listed: Girtie Cook.??

Cavness' by BigMamaFolk
Kay, I am not offended by your messaging me about BigMamaFolk. I have emailed or sent her edits so many times I finally gave up. She does not respond. So, I created memorials because of having so much family information. I have hoped that Findagrave would finally blend the memorials. They usually do after memorials are duplicated or left unattended for extended periods of time. No luck on these. Any ideas? Connie

Re: Louie Wood
Hi Kay,
I went through the photos I took at the Richland Springs Cemetery and the first photo is Louie Wood and next to him is Thomas Jefferson Wood, then Maggie May Wood, James H. Wood & Everett C. Wood. Hope this helps. :)
