Olympic gold medalists
Hola Jose,

I looked through your virtual cemetery of sports people and while it was full of cyclists and soccer players - just like mine features rugby and cricket, and anyone from the USA features baseball or American football - it did contain a few of interest to me, such as Gert Fredriksson and the Spanish water polo goalie.

But I was amazed when I saw a memorial to Jack Blackham, the Australian cricketer!!! How did he get on to your list?

I hope Jose that you maintain your interest in featuring the graves of sports people, and if you track down any more Olympic gold medalists I would be very interested to find out about them. Have a look at my list if you're interested.

Regards, Tim

Carl Esmond
I thought I'd let you know that Carl Esmond's wife Ruth died Saturday at age 104. The plans were to have them both buried in a family plot in Colma CA but that isn't going to happen now and the family has possession of their cremated remains.

Querido José,
Veo que tienes un apellido italiano (Bernabé Tronchoni): ¿puedo escribir en italiano?
¿o prefiere en español (con el traductor de google)?

Joey
People and the Internet have all copied his birth last name incorrectly. His birth name was Joseph Richard Yanoska. He was a beloved brother.

I also sent edits with Mike's full name, place of birth and place of death. Did you get these? You should be able to select "ACCEPT" and they should appear. Thanks.

RE: Mike Wieringo
if you wish to transfer, please do. if you were friends with Mike, please keep it. i will leave this entirely up to you. just wanted him to have complete info. thank you so much for adding the entry. Even tho I am very close to Mike's parents and uncle, I did not have the opportunity to meet him. A very sad situation.

MICHAEL LANCE WIERINGO
I HAVE POSTED AN ENTRY FOR MIKE WHO WAS A COUSIN OF MINE. PLEASE TAKE THE INFO AND ADD TO YOUR ENTRY - THEN NOTIFY ME AND I WILL REMOVE MY ENTRY.

THERE IS NOW A MARKER FOR HIM IN THE PEARSON MEMORIAL CEMETERY, HENRY, FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA. IT WAS PLACED BY HIS PARENTS THIS MORNING.

HIS ASHES ARE, AS FAR AS I KNOW, NOT WITH THE MARKER.
