NO, not related. I just came across more info. I often will research further just to give a more complete profile for those looking for loved ones.

update: Infant Porter in Heflin AL
Due to your request I have researched and updated this Infants memorial. I still can not add a name, as I have explained in the bio and to you in my "Decline to accept Edit". The parents were prominent citizens in Heflin and they made the decision to not disclose their 1st borns name on the marker so they could hide his death. Secrets always come back to haunt your family. Even 116 yrs later. I am sure, like most people today, that the parents never even thought that a person could sit at home and read documents on a personal computer that would reveal their secret.

P.S. Allen Hansford Daniell
Now I think of it, it was Debbra who I received Allan's memorial from, so it was indeed the merger of dupes that must be how it wound up in your custody. I looked over the memorials I manage and this one is the only one in Bucksnort that has been affected by the mergers.

Allen Hansford Daniell
Hello! I was startled to see that management of my great-grandpa Allen Hansford Daniell's memorial, #9917047, had been transferred to you - I got custody of it some four years ago from Judy. I never received any notice from you or Find A Grave asking for me to transfer it to you, and I expect that somehow it happened when dupes in the Bucksnort Cemetery (which is where he is, next to Phemie) not on the Stoney Point side), were merged. Anyhow, I would please like to have him back. Thank you for your time and attention. - Dorothy Varnell, AKA Dee☼

Ernest J. Clark
Thanks for alerting me to the duplicate I created on Ernest. The earlier listing you referenced has him as "burial unknown", and I believe Find A Grave guidelines give preference to the first person to list a memorial in the correct cemetery. The best I can do is contact the first lister and ask him to assign Ernest to New Hope Cemetery so I can remove my duplicate listing. The lister's bio page notes he is "taking a break" from Find A Grave, but hope he will respond to the request. Thanks again for your keen observation. Linda

McAllister/McAlester
I worked on the McAllister memorials. I was conflicted when I established them as their gravestones noted the spelling of their surname as McAlester, but the actual spelling was McAllister. I have placed explanations. Many thanks.
