James Morgan - Memorial# 116439604
Hello,

What documentation do you have of this burial? I was under the impression that James and Eleanor were both buried on private property.

If you have documentation, I would be very grateful to see it. It could clear up some very confusing information regarding this couple.

Kindest Regards,
Alana Morgan

Louanna Poe
Thanks for letting me know. I did know her middle name was Texas and thought I had updated it. I do have it in my tree on line. I just have not worked on the Poe,s in over a year. Been working on other family. I remember talking with you before. I had tried to run down information on the family and photo's from some of the older people, but with no luck so far.

Hi, are you sure you have the correct cemetery for the following:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2243207&GRid=116438891&
This is a Delaware County cemetery, it would have been Chester County in the 1700s, and I just wanted to double check.

Samuel Morgan, Sr.
I just received a request for a transfer of Samuel Morgan, Sr. from you. I don't think I can reply through the Find A Grave request, so would you send a personal email to me at joanna1200 at msn dot com? You and I have had this discussion before and I think you have forgotten.

Thanks,

Joanna

Geroge Green Wyatt
Do you have any information on the parent of Green Wyatt? He married a relative of mine, Amanda Holloman and they had one daughter. I am trying to make a connection with him to the Green families of Webster and Hopkins Co. KY. It is just a hunch but with his middle name being Green, I suspect his mother or a grandmother may have been a Green.
Thanks,

RE: Major James Poe
Thank you for your quick reply :) I keep getting frustrated and ready to quit and then I get curious again!

My John (1785 Chatham Co. NC - 1864 Hamilton Co. TN) married Dorothy Gouge 2/4/1812 in Rhea Co. TN and then Rebecca Hinkle 10/20/1819 in Rhea Co. TN.

Thank you so much for the suggestion to check poegen.net :) I think I may have actually discovered something from there. From reading Simon Poe Sr.'s will several months ago, I was under the impression that the only James in his line was Major James Poe (1740 VA - 1827 AL), but from poegen.net it appears that Simon Poe Jr. (1730 VA - 1773 NC) also had a son named James (before 1752 - 1812)married to Sarah Petty and had a son named John :) Unfortunately there is no info on John, but the 1790 census lists a James Poe in Chatham Co. NC (where my John was born) with 1 white male under 16 years of age (My John would have been 5 years old at that time). What do you think? I am not good at this and I second guess myself :( Thank you again!!

Gooch
Hello, I was wondering where Isabella Gooch was buried as I can find George Parker and his second wife Della. Isabella and George are my direct descendents and my mother's family tree also tracts back to English Royality. I was trying to get additional information for the DAR and if you have any additional information or research I would appreciate it. I am trying to get a copy of his will.

Jeanne I can leave my e-mail address if you would like it.
