Began working on the family line in 1973 and the wife's line in 1976, doing things the old-fashioned way--Visiting County Courthouses, Trolling Spooky Graveyards, writing countless letters, and making phone calls to strangers. I have gotten many a helpful boost from others to keep the project going, and must say that I've found many helpful people here on Find-A-Grave. The Internet has made searching a lot easier, wish we had that back in the day. Hoping to connect with others in my lines. As of now, I am my family's only Gatekeeper.|
To the right are virtual cemeteries, as this is for our children, containing our ancestors (Paternal Line) and my late wives' ancestors (Maternal Line), Siblings of all lines (Extended Siblings), and other family members of both lines (Extended Relatives). Also there is a place for those friends and others from the Past.

Hi Chuck and Susan,
Susan, thank you so much for checking on the headstones. So, no George buried in Valhalla? He seems to have just disappeared. Also, Mary Rooney was definitely this George W. Keene's wife. I noticed on Grace's memorial you list her mother as "DeWolf." That's not correct according to any of my records. She is on Ancestry.com "The Hodapp Family Tree."
Chuck, George W. Keene was my 2nd Great-Grandfather. His daughter Lucye was my ancestor.

That is funny you mention Mary Rooney. Ellen did find her elsewhere in the cemetery but no George.
Your very welcome! I enjoy doing this! They are indeed in a mausoleum. On the outside on the east side of the building. Please let me know if I can ever be of assistance again!

I had the 'Prass' family in my 'to do' notes for Riverview. I found them along with the "Acheson's" for you.

I see you added a picture request for Paul & Frances Prass @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.

Hi Chuck, No problem, I will find out whether or not he is buried in Confederate. According to his death certificate, on line, his name is Burley Melroy Harris deceased in Huntsville, Walker County, Texas and burial in Alvin. Did not give a cemetery. I was at Confederate today looking, but the keeper of the cemetery was not there, I should find out this week, we have a lot of rain going on today, tomorrow & the next day and when that happens, the keeper is usually not there. Let me know if I can help you further.
