A Chicago Public School teacher for about 40 years, I retired in 2004 and have been a member of the Theatre of Western Springs since 1978 and have acted in over 20 plays and directed about 12.
I have only recently begun to research my family history, which includes roots extending through Montgomerys and Pursleys as well as Wises. | |

The same physician and minister, William Strickling, also performed the marriage ceremony of Benjamin's brother, William James at the same locality on 16 March 1871 when William wed Mary Doak.

Benjamin Franklin Montgomery married for the second time to Rebecca Pursley 22 May 1872 at Botetourt, Virginia, nearly two years after the birth of Charles Columbus Montgomery. | | | Connie
