Thanks so much for sending the information along about the Boones. Yes, I was familiar with the Boone society information but didn't transcribe it very clearly and got confused between the different Georges, especially when they added one more (father of the old George I!). Take a look at what I have now and if you see anything that should be clarified, please let me know. Looks like we are both descendants of them. I, too, am a Scholl and Bryan descendant.

You are correct. It appears someone erroneously entered him in Salem Cemetery, when he is actually buried in the Moravian God's Acre Cemetery.
To verify this you can check the Salem Congregations website at www.salemcongregation.org and then click on Gods Acre.

The cemetery itself is not a duplicate, as Providence Chapel Cemetery is located on Fairview Blacktop in Farmington Township in Fulton County, between Fairview and Middlelgrove, in a rural location. The cemetery sits behind the church. I am very familiar with this church and cemetery as I was married in the church and have grown up in this area. The other memorial has Providence Cemetery listed as being in Bernadotte. I also have a book that lists all burials in Providence Chapel Cemetery up to 1984, called "Cemetery Inscriptions of Fulton County Illinois Volume 8, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Farmington and other Farmington Township Cemeteries" that lists William Allen in the book. The info in this book is from cemetery records, death records, and/or headstones in the cemeteries when any and all are available.
Again, I am more than happy to delete the duplicate but I just want to make sure that his true burial location is correct.

I see that the dates are the same, but the cemetery is different.
As William is physically buried in Providence Chapel Cemetery, if the memorial # above is updated to the correct cemetery, I will delete memorial # 93968220.

Hello! Do you know if your great-great grandfather Elias Patrick Tomey is buried in Wells Cemetery in Daviess Co., IN? I'm doing some additional geneaological research on 38th Indiana Civil War veterans, and I don't know his last resting place. Any help would be appreciated!
