What is the story behind the 'temporary grave marker'?

Thank you so much for sharing with me how you knew my Aunt Lucy. And for transferring my Dad and Uncle Bud to me. I have been to a few of the yearly picnics at Pleasant Hill. I enjoyed them. And I also miss my Aunt :(
