Bio and Links
Bio Photo Photo at left: Peakville road sign, Clark Co. MO.
Peaksville City limits, town in near distant view, lookng east.

I began my genealogy work about 30 yrs ago, in hopes of finding my fathers heritage. It was a difficult journey but finally put the pieces together. After I had done that I found the Peake gelealogy online which had been done by John T. Suchy. I am so glad I did not see his file during my initial searching, but when I did I found that his simply VERIFIED all that I had found. Up to finding his file online, I had spent the first 15 years piecing the Peake names together, with all the Johns, Wm's and Humphreys, every Peake family named their children these names. It was, who goes to what family? and scratching head.

Now I love to travel to all the places they have lived, makes a great vacation as well as researching.

My family names are Peake, Eisenbach, Kunkel, Stevens,Tarbell,Henning, Moffett,Lotspeich, Holland, Worden Most of my memorials are those of these family names and I will not transfer them.

Many thanks to those that have transfered memorials, and to Ronald Sommers for obtaining so much information on the Kunkels side, as well as Marcella Chapel for securing so many photos of the old Grassyville Cemetery for us. I love it when a plan comes together and this plan through the F.A.G. memorials was to put the families together under one or two mangements. Our heritage deserves no less than loving caretakers. No one person can properly manage a Kjillion memorials of people they don't know, impossible to do and a Great disservice to the families searching & who have proper dates, names & Bio's. Do you really own Dead People?, do you also See them? (that's a joke)

If you must copy and paste the BIO info from a memorial page and into your account on Ancestry or My Heritage Tree or any other genealogy website, (you know the ones that CHARGE a FEE to view.) REMEMBER where you got the info and GIVE credit where Credit is DUE, and acknowledge your source. I don't mind any family member having the info, but to just take it as yours is disrespectiful considering all the big$$$$$ and time, I have spent to obtain it. 30 years......and you get it in minutes and for FREE. Shame/shame. NOTE: plagiarize...
To use and pass off the ideas or writings of another as one's own.

This has happened many times with the Lotspeich name. I love to share what I have, but my info was used,(info they never had before) and not even a thank you mamm, or an invite on the reunion trip to GA., the homeplace of the Lotspeich's I found for them. Sour Grapes, perhaps.

My endeavor here is not to get a Kgillion memorials under my belt and then dissappear and become inactive, personally I am not that important to have such an EGO, my work is to inform my cousins out there searching for their family, I love to share. I think the Kgillion memorial data entry folks drop out and become the F.A.G. police................

PS: I am thrilled when a NEW Cousin contacts me via F.A.G.....have met so many now, some did not realize there are still cousins out here. We're here and I have made many connections to their closer cousins.

Have I ever answered this message ? I do not think I did. I lost all contacts due to a computer virus last year.... and just started using the find a grave site again. My e-mail is vida_l@sbclgobal.
That is an underscore after vida and a small casing ''L'' before the @ sign.

Peake Family Link
JoAnne, thank you for your years of work on the Peake Family tree. Laura Ellen Peake is my husband's great grandmother. Her daughter Addie Alice Peake Herrick is his grandmother. All we have learned about the family to this point has pretty much been limited to the Ancestry sites. While we knew that the family plot was in Clackamas Co., Oregon, we had never before seen photos of them. Thank you for allowing us to post these to our tree. While we have a few pictures of Addie, I don't believe that we can provide any of Laura. If you have any interest in these photos, please let us hear from you. Your work on our history is a true family treasure! Thank you. Louis and Lorraine Martel

RE: Larry Wayne Lotspeich
I can't help but think there's a relationship someone in their line. Both attractive men, who passed too soon.

Re: Rosa Belle Worden Deffenbaugh Waychoff
I have been contacted by one of Rosa's grandsons, Ola Fouquet, on findagrave. He disputes the names in the pictures and claims Rosa is buried in Kellerby Cemetery, not Stroud. He doesn't seem familiar with how the Findagrave process works, so I will give you his email address and copy his messages. Hopefully the two of you can sort things out.

Ola, with his photo request:
I would like the photo of Rosa. Do not need the stone photo as I will be right next to her some day. Rosa grandson Ola Bon Fouquet.
Hi! I am a volunteer photographer for I saw your photo request for Rosa. If you are wanting to get copies of the photographs on her memorial, you should click on the name of the owner, found under the photograph, and ask to use the photo outside of findagrave. Below is the link to Rosa's memorial.

1st email: There needs to be some corrections to this Email. The picture is not correct and Grandma is berried in the Kellerby cemetery, just next to
where I will be burrier. She had a sister named Sarah Minturan(not sure on spelling).
2nd email:
Sarah's last name was Monthey, strange what old age does to us.

Willaim Triplett Family in Virginia
Hello Lady,
You entered your name on the memorial of William Triplett. You related to the memory of his wife Sarah Peake who was a distant aunt of yours and all of the Peake`s.. QUESTION?? Do you have any history or Genealogy of the WILLIAM TRIPLETT and his family. It mentions ROUND HILL and his seat in Fairfax County Virginia. I anm trying the TRIPLETT familt to the state of North Carolina. The were connected to the Ferguson family in North Carolina. Any information you can help or supply for this old ,old grand father of Maryland would be GREATLY valued.

The old Marine.

Please answer/I have looked for this information for some time.

Thank you, Thank you.

I am a great-great-great granddaughter through their son, William, whose daughter Emma was my great-grandmother. Unfortunately, she died very young, and I have never known the family..

No problem, just wish I could read morher's death certificate. You might look at it and see if you can. It does say in a mausoleum there.
