Bio and Links
Bio Photo Simply put, my goal is to help others. I don't like errors; if you find any, or if you would like me to transfer ownership, add relationship links, or add additional information, please let me know.

I have several pets on this site. One of my pets, though, was really smart and even wrote his own autobiography/obituary! If you have a few minutes, "Pokey's" thoughts and life remembrances are a pretty interesting read, I thought anyway!

Simply search my records for Pokey Ferguson.

Thanks and Have A Wonderful Day!

DO you know anything about the subject of your memorial number 24311970? His name is William James Proctor. I am curious to see if it is my cousin. His nickname was Buckshot

Josie Vaden Nicholsen
I am researching for a good friend of mine who was born in Lake City, Arkansas. She is the great granddaughter of Josie Vaden Nicholsen, through John S Vaden, Martha Vaden, Eugene Carpenter, John's sister Myrtle Pearl married a Pool and then married Landon Yarbrough.

Am I correct in my research that Josie Vaden's first husband is Jasper S Vaden? If you can verify this please leave me a note.

Cook Family Hammons Chapel Cemetery
Would you mind transferring ownership of all the Cook Memorials you created at Hammons Chapel Cemetery in White County Arkansas to me? They are all my relatives. Henry Cook (33453017) and Dovie Cook (33452851) are my grandparents. We just buried my Mom, Elva Jean Cook Davis there last month. Also, I live close to the cemetery so can easily fill photo request there.

Thanks

This is my great-grandmother. The King Family Bible that belonged to her and my great-grandfather was handed down to me. I would love to have her memorial transferred to my care. I will take good care of it. If possible I would appreciate it. Thank you for all the work and many hours you have put in on this site and the many smiles you have put on so many faces.
PS I was also named after my great-grandmother.

Permission to use your photos
Hi, John (or Fergie) - I just wanted to ask if it is OK for me to use your headstone and marker photos for my project (on Ancestry.com) on Van Buren Co., Arkansas.

I always give credit to the Find A Grave photographer/contributor, as well as provide the number of the memorial so that others can see the original for themselves.

It has come to my attention that some folks don't like Ancestry.com (since it is a pay site), but I find it a good place to provide information to a lot of folks.

Please let me know, and thanks for all of your work on Find A Grave.

John
