Please be a contributor to Findagrave and not just a memorial manager of someone else's work.
RECENTLY IT SEEMS THEY HAVE "CRAWLED OUT OF THE WOODWORK", perhaps coming from the "un-named site" that has EVERYONE adding WHATEVER "they" want to whatever person "they" care to, and in the process they have created information that is UNTRUE and IRRELAVANT and is then copied by another person who believes it is true, and the circle CONTINUES!!
I and RELATIVES I KNOW are related-constantly scoure family records IN OUR POSSESSION-what is added -is what we have checked and double checked~~when we find documents that are exceptionally interesting and realize other relatives haven't had access to this information--I post it to their memorials.
There are some people and you know who you are that follow 'guide lines' in transferring memorials. You must be a numbers person! And for those people who criticize the photos posted and appear to be strickly a numbers person - SHAME ON YOU TOO and are a PITA!! If they aren't your relatives, why should you care. So, as the saying goes, 'if the shoe fits, wear it'.
Additionally, I will politely DECLINE edit requests from Anonymous contributors or people who do NOT sign into the Findagrave system and there is NO way to contact you. Are you ashamed to give yourself a name? The proper thing to do it identify yourself!
I am a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer, with over 28 years of federal civil service. To keep myself busy, I became a navigator/logistics specialist on my husband's rig. I am also the proud wife of a retired Army soldier and the very proud mother of a soldier, who was injured by an IED explosion and completed his tour of duty in Iraq.
It's the soldier, not the reporter who has given us Freedom of the Press. It's the soldier, not the poet, who has given us Freedom of Speech. It's the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate. It's the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the Right to a Fair Trial. It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves under the flag and whose coffin is draped by the flag. ~Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC~~GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!
If there are memorials I have created or maintain who are your family members, please send me a message and I will be more than happy to transfer them to you-no matter your blood generation; EXCEPT, IF THEY ARE IN MY FAMILY TREE, MY HUSBAND'S FAMILY OR MY ADOPTED MOM'S FAMILY, then I will maintain the memorial(s).
The photos I post on Findagrave and ancestry.com may be used by one and all at any time, although no money is to be made from my photographs. Photo credit would be appreciated! This is a site for all to cherish for future generations with headstone photos of distant relatives never known and now, never to be forgotten.

Well said!!! God bless you and your beloved family. Thank you to your family of military veterans for their service. As the widow of a Vietnam Veteran, I have an inkling to your love of country and the passion you have. Rock on, sweet sister - keep up the great work!
Thanks so much for the article on the Porcher family. The family was just as prominent in Charleston. The family has been around since the beginning of the colony. The Porcher came to South Carolina in the later part of the 1600's along with other Huguenots. Thanks again for taking the time to let me know.

That was my thought also since it was handwritten. Everything I see which is mostly other family trees all say Martinez but they could just be copying other people's work. I really don't know anything personal abt the family. Could contact a couple of Watson relatives and see if they know anything.
What made me notice the name was Sayre, OK is where my husband was born but it doesn't look like he lived near there. He was stationed in NM, died in Oklahoma and buried in Texas.

Thank you. I tried and couldn't find one. Ralph was a second cousin to my husband but we never made connection. Thanks for searching for it.
|Susan Richardson||RE: Carolyn Johnson|
Thank You so much glad to have her!

I've transferred maintenance control to you. I don't know why I didn't do it in the first place.
Have another great day,

Thank you for sponsoring the memorial I created for Lydia Cosumano.
