Ogle Cemetery Coon Ridge
Thanks for the clues on finding the cemetery.
I use Google Earth to look for these cemeteries, but I can not see it in the imagery they currently provide. I do see what I believe to be a dairy barn with two silos. That barn is visable from Route 52 and on Street view. When I scroll up the hill behind the barn, I don't see evidence of the cemetery. So I will need to knock on some doors to find it. If you want to see the dairy barn in Googe Earth, type in 36 degrees 47.357 N and 80 degrees 45.848 W.
Thanks so much for your help.

# 44476097 You have posted a picture of David Howlett's marker located in the Elijah Ogle Cemetery in Carroll County Va. I am trying to locate the cemetery. I have driven around the area and can not see it. I was hoping that if you made the picture you might be able to tell me how to find the Cemetery.

-Thanks

RE: Lafayette Trisler
Yes, I thought that was interesting, too. My attention came to this one because someone has recently procured a NEW military marker, since the old one was in such poor condition. There's a photo of it in the most recent newsletter for the Bartholomew Co. Genealogical Society, although it was taken with the front in shade, so doesn't show very well. Maybe someone will get out there and upload a better photo of the new marker. Thanks for updating!

Margaret Ward Trisler
It seems to have worked. Her Mothers name is Matilda Jane Parker Bivins. She was married to Lewis Banton Ward before she married a Thomas Bivins. I should have told you her name as was on FindAGrave. Sorry for the problem.
Thanks, Donna

Here is the link to the Clermont County Genealogical Society page. You will see a description of cemetery plus pictures & on main page you can also click on inscriptions or map. On findagrave it is listed as Mount Olive Methodist Church Cemetery.
