I am a native of Michigan, specifically, Lansing and Alma areas, but we have lived in western New York for the past 20 years. Still hoping to return to MI soon.

Thank you to those who have sponsored relatives of mine whose memorials were created by other family members. Your generosity is appreciated also.

May we always be grateful to those who have served in the armed forces of our country.

Thank you to all who do serve or have served our great country! I know a lot of contributors fall into this category. Thank you to all who have given their lives for our country. With deep gratitude...Rosie

There are several reasons why burial information is not available at the time of creating a memorial. I have added a lot of relatives several generations back in the hopes that someone who has that information will provide it. This site is called "Find" A Grave, after all!

The majority of us here on Find A Grave are here because we have lost someone very dear to us. We come here for comfort and support. The wise members of this community reach out with Love and kindness and we truly appreciate their wisdom and encouragement.

RE: Alfred Doc Harris
I like walking the cemeteries; the quietness is a relief from the bustle of life. Just when i walk Chapel Hill, my camera is not in plain view. If i run across the McNaughton graves, i'll get pictures.

Yes, i live near the cemetery. I am watched when i go to Chapel Hill so i know what Glen means.

My excuse to staff is that i have lots of family buried there, which i do - maternal grandparents, a paternal aunt & my dad. My mother and step-dad will be buried there and their marker is already in place. Thankfully, family members are not all buried in the same section.

it may take a while but i'll see what i can do about the grave marker pictures for the McNaughtons. No promises.

Rosie, thank you for your memorial to Uncle Billy. I never knew him, but he is much loved despite that. I know so much about him. His body lies somewhere off Bougainville in the Solomon Islands. His plane was shot down the day before his 20th birthday. He was MIA until after the end of WWII. I have all his medals and pictures. He loved Stephan Foster songs and he loved his family. And he had smiling gentle blue eyes. His marker is next to my grandfather's grave. My grandmother's grave is here in Arkansas close to my mothet's. Thank you for what you do.

RE: HI Lynne,
Yes they are and she was one in a million. Kind loving and just plain sweet. She is in a better place now but I will always miss her and treasure her friendship and love. She was like my second mom.

RE: Hi Delita,
Thanks Rosie. We are so proud that Dana is doing so well. I have good days and bad days and I know the thyroid is to blame. Thanks for your thoughts of us. Hope your weekend is going great. Hugs Delita

RE: Dear Bea,
Thank you, Rosie for the compliment that I don't deserve. At age 90 , living alone I don't have much to do except play on the computer and Find A Grave is my favorite playground.
I thank you for all your visits to my three children and other family members. I do appreciate them.

Hi and Hugs! =)
Dear Rosie,
I know, I never get by to say Thank You for your visits, but I'm trying to get caught up right know I'm behind on this site when I have to hire help to organize what I've got to catch up on. ha! Hope that all is well with you and yours and that summer is a good one, so far - Gannon and I are still at doctors literally every weekday, but I won't complain because that means we're getting good care and not falling through the cracks! Take Care, and I'll try to return visiting favors more often, I promise - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

RE: Hi Steve,
Thank you so much Rosie. Your father was a hero and it was an honor to photograph his site and visit it. There is no need for thanks. Thanks too for the prayers and for remembering Aaron.

Hugs, Steve
