Appreciate the SAC-senders for making our memorials more accurate and more complete. Teamwork builds better memorials.
Does your Find A Grave profile make threats like, "Do what I say, or your message will be ignored/deleted," followed by redundant exclamation points? Lighten up. Bullying went out of style in the last century.
Phony "rules." A few Gravers create faux rules, like "no death certificates on my memorials," despite the fact that the FAQs are perfectly clear: "Death certificates may be added...." Maybe these folks missed the "follow the rules" and "play nicely with others" lessons in kindergarten.

If David is listed on the memorial then there should be a cenotaph memorial for him. If it is then I must have just missed it. I am an not a perfect person.
Thanks for pointing out my grammar errors in my memorial. The cenotaph is for military info. I do not link them to the family, just to the actual burial location. No need to copy and paste as that is what the link is there for so that family can find it themselves.

Thanks for all the hard work!

How very kind of you, Jay. I knew I am am a fanatic. I just want so much for there to be a correct record so these souls will be documented and not forgotten.
Good work on Noah Grove and Margaret. Why didn't I think of that!
I do have one concern...I wonder if the death date of Noah on Roots Web is correct--as I have him being married to Margaret 4/12/1892. I don't know of any other Noah Groves that lived in the vicinity.
Let me know what you think.

|Marianna Kerns Morgan||RE: More re Margaret Victoria Wheaton Worley Grove|
Jay, thanks for your inquiries. Regarding the middle name of Victoria for Margaret Wheaton, I thought I would find my reference and I want to apologize for giving you an unreferenced change.
I cannot for the life of me figure where I got the Victoria. I don't think we should use it for that reason. It would make more sense that the V in her name would stand for Vance, although we have no proof of that either.
On my records I am going to go back to V.
I have been looking for Noah Grove also. He had another marriage to Eleanor P. Holliday but so far I haven't found anything on her either.

Name: Noah Groves
Event Type: Marriage
Event Date: 01 Dec 1842
Event Place: Ross, Ohio, United States
Spouse's Name: Elanor Or Eleanor Holliday Or Hollyday
Reference ID: P81 , GS Film Number: 281639 , Digital Folder Number: 004256208 , Image Number: 00092
Noah Grove and Eleanor P. Holliday had a son, John Coyner Grove who married Ellen Elizabeth (Ella) Ervin. They are buried in Greenfield Cemetery.
They also had a son David Martin Grove who married Alice Melville Plyley and they also are buried in Greenfield Cemetery.
There is also a daughter, Harriett Isabelle Grove who married John E. Taylor and they are buried in Greenfield Cemetery.
The parents, Noah & Eleanor are not on my master index for Greenfield Cemetery taken from the Greenfield Courthouse. I wonder since they were married in Ross County if perhaps they are buried there.
I will let you know if I find anything else. In the meantime, thank you for putting up with my error on Margaret's middle name.

My rev war ancestors are buried up there also. I remember seeing Isaac out back and snapping a photo grave. Thanks for the help.

Are you a descendant of Perry?

After looking again I see two different stone's with the same name-dates. I've come across this a lot so I put the second stone on her memorial & deleted the one so she would have just one memorial. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It's much better this way & less confusing.

Jay, I deleted one of the memorials. I'm thinking she was a sister & it looked like to me the same stone on each picture. :)
