I lived in Vaiden, MS until 1979, Winona, MS until 1981, when I moved to Jackson, MS. In 1990, I moved to Florence, MS, where I still reside.
I have two wonderful sons, Sean and Cody, and I worked as a Level 2 Computer Field Technician for AmSouth Bank, In-House Technician for Trustmark Bank and Field Technician for CompuCom servicing 10 Lowe's stores in Mississippi.
So far, my family history has been traced back to my 14th Generation Grandfather, John Collins I, who was the keeper of the Gael (prison) for King Charles I of England (son of James I - of the King James Bible fame). Other relatives include another King (Elvis).
Other hobbies include motorcycles, making music as a drummer, historical research, adding entries to Find-a-Grave (since 08/11/2000), and watching and collecting DVDs.

RE: Lost Collins Thanks. I looked thru it twice and found her grandfather and great grandfather. Looking for Josephine Collins Farmer. She died in childbirth in 1913. Her husband died 3 months later. Her two sons now deceased never knew where they were buried. Probably around McCarley Carroll County, MS, but not sure. I am running out of leads. Thanks for the info. Glen
Lost Collins Judy from Carroll County gave me your name as a contact. If you like solving a great mystery I have one about a Collins family member. Are you interested in the search? Glen in Mississippi
Irena Frances Thrailkill Milner Ron, On Find A Grave Mem. # 22609109, Rhoda Elizabeth Thrailkill Ellis, I noticed that you had posted the pic of her and her husband, Elijah Ellis. Would you by any chance, have a photo of her sister , Irena Frances Thrailkill Milner, or a photo of the William Carroll Thrailkill family with Irena T. Milner in the photo? I have been searching for a photo of her for decades unsuccessfully. Thanks! Maggie
After a great deal of study I have found the following. Louis Tillman Gant is the son of James Gant and Elizabeth Gafney. Tillman's father died in 1876. Tillman is found in the 1880 census living with Lundsford Gant and there shown as the grandson of Lundsford Gant. Lundsford died and Tillman is next shown living with William "Preston" Gant who is his great uncle.
Thank you Ronnie,
A better e-mail for me is firstname.lastname@example.org. I can't figure out the new hotmail site at all. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
RE: Alvin B Wilson That's the Trotter family I thought of when I saw your father's middle name. I looked at the photo's of the old Collin's place. Incredible to see that. I love old buildings. It's amazing to know that people were born and died etc, and are now gone. We still have old buildings like that on Maui though they are rapidly disappearing.
I also noticed that one of your family died in El Monte California and is buried in Glendora California. I have family buried in the same cemetery there. My wife grew up down the street from the Oakwood Cemetery in Glendora. I grew up in Baldwin Park Calif. Its across the Rio Hondo River from El Monte. I could see El Monte from my bedroom window. Glendora is nestled against the Azusa Mountains. It's a beautiful town, rather up-scale from the surrounding area.
