Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a photo of my ggg grandmothers grave.
I have never seen the grave. I really appreciate the person who took the photo.
Thanks a lot.

It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.

Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Thank you so very much for adding my recent links to my Gose family. Your bio was wonderful and I feel exactly the same way about my research. It is a service that helps so many people and I am proud to be a part of it. Thank you again!

Thank you for memorializing my grandmother. She is not buried at Citizen's Cemetery in Clarendon, but cremated (as she wished) and her ashes are in my sister's possession. Her husband was Arthur Lee Barkley, buried in Panhandle, Tx. I believe her son, Howard Wayne Barkley is buried there also. Marilyn Kay Skelton (my mother), her daughter, is buried at Citizen's Cemetery in Clarendon. I hope this information is helpful.

Thank you for all you do!

Thank you for your volunteer work to make Find A Grave a very useful genealogy research site. I am wondering if you would contact me at my e-mail: I am working on the Cheatwood line and believe that your Cheatwoods are connected to Rachel C Cheatwood's family.

Hope to hear from you.

Thank you for posting the photos of their graves.They are part of my birth family and the data on the markers has provided me with source material for my family tree. As a volunteer myself I appreciate the time and effort you took to do a kindness for a stranger. You are an asset to this community.
