Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Name is Ronald A. Sykes, Sr, and have been working on my family History for over 40 years.

Any additional information, adding bio's, changing .or adding names, dates and location can be done, without asking me, by hitting the edit button.

With the new system of FaG, I OK the links, and changes, without question. However, this also means, I may or may not have linked or corrected memorials.

I am more than happy to any correct a problem, or link family members. As far as Transfer goes, please look at the rules set down by Find a Grave, before asking. I will take a look on a case to case basis, but normally follow those rules. Demands from, or rude people are always ignored. If you would like credit for something added, either put it in the bio section, or let me know and I will add it for you.

I normally make all requests within 24 hours. If not, don't worry, I will get to it. Sometimes, I take a day off, too.

AGAIN. I follow the rules of Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case to case bases. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request.

You My permission to use any of my Headstone photo, for your personal use.

Hi Ronald,
Would you be willing to transfer my parents' memorials to me?
Actually someone else submitted duplicates for them years after you posted them -- so I guess your rights precede hers. I suppose the FAQs explain what to do in this case. I will have to read up on it. I have asked her to transfer them to me as well. I would like to have just one set for my parents with correct bios, photos and links to their parents, children and siblings.
Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Will and Bess Harris
Thank you sir for the transfer(s)

The Harris family and its links and photos and details have come a long way on Find A Grave since I started working on tying many of them together, and much of the groundwork laid out from folks like you have been so valuable in helping me learn so much.

PS. I will TRY update myself on the local area.

I just left northern Nevada last year. There
is so much I need to re-learn of this area.

You have 3 photo requests that may not be
very far from me here in Franklin County, Miss.

I'll try.......Cullen.

RE: Arnold/Watts
I have found MUCH of recent.
I do not know how I find the time.

Preston was involved in a great-grand fathers
death, who was his brother-in-law.
Preston's sister died 4 days after a still-born child. Many of my grand-parents generation petitioned for Preston's prison release.

There is more, but I'll not add it here, yet.

RE: Lofton's
I do not have a copy of the Lofton book.

A "cousin maybe" shared a copy many years a-go.
Her maiden name was Lofton in West-Lincoln
County Mississippi. She shared it when I mentioned I had found a Loftin line. She told me about
the Irish family name they had to give-up.
Some of the family went back to it, either ON
the ship or after arriving in north America.
Not everyone in the family did, stating the
"papers the british issued them has THE NAME
we can live and find work under and might not be
able to do so IF the Name does match."

Lofton, Loflin, Loftin and Liftin is localy know as correct, but I do not remember what Miss.
Jewel said the Irish surname was.
Need to talk to her.

RE: Lofton's
I seem to have lapsed in my checking messages.

Are you speaking of Rodney Arnold MMan?
He might be in my position with communication.
I have sent him a couple of requests,
with no response, that I have seen.

I do get tons of garbledeeee-gook junk-mail.
Any response he may have sent could have
been buried in the junk.

Metaline Cemetery
Good Day, NW Mt Man, Thank you for your Find A Grave work.

You may want to consider connecting Darlene Frysinger #40516732 nee Prouty to her parents, Ralph and Erma. Her other brother, Herbert, is also in the M Cem, but not listed.

What is your connection with Metaline and MF? Just curious...v/r, cp
