I am a genealogist researching several surnames in our lineage. Check out my Cournoyer Family Website for vintage pictures and information on the Cournoyer, Allain, Dix, Dupee, Jenkinson, Jirschele, Kohl, Lindsay, Pratt, and Wilcott surnames. :)
FYI - I do have headstone photos for most of my listings. I am behind in adding them to the memorials. If I do not have a photo posted yet or a correction needs to be made, please email me and I will do my best to correct it.
Please feel free to use any of the headstone photos that I have personally taken and have posted for your own use.
Jessie Emma Lindsay Hoben Jessie requested her cremated remains be placed with her father Edmond James Lindsay Sr. according the Forest Home records. I can't see if her name was added to his stone from the angle the picture was taken. Please contact me if you know. If Jessie's name is on the marker could someone please take a picture or make note of it in the public messages.
I am also looking for William D. Lindsay's second wife resting place, Florence Dewey Lindsay, she died in ?-?-1936, several years years after William D. Lindsay died 12-10-1927. She doesn't appear to be in the William Lindsay plot at Forest Home Cemetery.
Robt. Taylor Jenkinson Memorial# 20844393 Hi Kathie, I am working on collateral lines of the OLIN names from Canton, NY and have come to your Jenkinson families and you :-) Would love to visit and share relationship, if you like, Ruth in IL email@example.com
RE: Sarah McIlwrick photo That's ok. It was my pleasure. I'm sorry there was no headstone. The old Dalby cemetery has been much affected by flood as it is near the Myall creek, so many graves have been affected.
Mose Allard Hi Kathie, Thanks for making the changes but I also thought I submitted a correction to the spelling of his last name to Allard. Yes, I understand the headstone is spelled Allord but this is also incorrect according to my Great Great Grandfather's birth certificate. He was born to Joseph and Adelaide Allard 7 May 1849 as Moses Allard in Green Bay, Brown County, Wisconsin. There is Allord in my genealogy, but this actually occurs by following birth certificates of children of Alvin and Mary Allard... Also on their headstones it is spelled Allord but actual documentation is Allard... The children of Alvin and Mary Allard on each of their birth certificates is Allord. A story is there as to why this occurred and was left I heard from my father Robert J. Allord... This is the only place in my genealogy the name is spelled as Allord. All siblings to Alvin Allard and their children remains Allard...
