Why Find A Grave is important to me:

Little Boy Lost No More
A Mite of Humanity
The Broken Chick
Union Cemetery:

Special thanks to: Duane Heit and Merrill Austin ~ For help with the history of my family in Iowa. And many others who help me piece together my family quilt.

Kudos to Dyanne, Mike, Deb, Jerry, Lane, Christopher, and Ms Lucy for their countless hours of help documenting Union Cemetery!
Special thanks to Jerry, Mike, Leonard, and Deb for transferring their Union memorials to my care.

I believe in credit where credit is due. Those sending information for memorials I manage are linked in the memorials. The helpful nature of Find A Grave volunteers is awesome!

For Union Cemetery: When there is conflicting information about the verified spelling of a name, I will use the spelling on the gravestone inscription. If there is no gravestone, I will use the spelling as shown in the cemetery records unless there is compelling evidence of a different spelling.

** My apologies for any delays in responding to corrections, suggestions, or other inquiries. I have been very ill since September 2014 and unable to do anything on Find A Grave. I am now recuperating slowly, so please hang in there with me. I will work a few hours each day to try to catch up but it will take a while. (11 Feb 2015)
Good days, bad days; good weeks, bad weeks. (16 Oct 2015)

Please send all corrections and additions through the EDIT link in the upper right corner of each memorial rather than posting them to my profile page. This allows me to easily access the precise memorial so I can correctly add pertinent information. Thank you.

Mary Alice Bowser transfer
Thank you for transfering the memorial of Mary Alice Bowser. It is still hard to believe she has passed. I will take care of her memorial and share it with her sister Patti Ann.

Harriet Smith
Thanks for your replies. We were in Missouri and went to the state archives and found several records on her. Their records are not correct when they state she is B. Smith. They are making changes to their records as she was E. Smith(husband was Emery Smith) We also went to the cemetery and found her grave, thanks again for your work.

You entered this grave and left flowers. I think this may be my g. Grand mother. Do you have any more information on Emma? Are you related to her?

Thanks

Mike

RE: Harriet Smith
Where did you get the Missouri death record for Harriet Smith? We have not been able to find it. Thanks!

I certainly understand dealing with fierce headaches and the issues that can cause! Thankfully they are a part of my past, not my present :) I will go ahead and transfer back to you - that way if you can locate Lindsey she may have a connection to her. st

I see that you made some updates to these memorials and I was wondering if you are related and if you would like them transferred to you? I am always looking to get the memorials back to family when possible. Just let me know.

That's fine, but I think you may have transferred to the wrong person, as your note says you got the information from Lindsey. I will send it on to her when I get to the 'real' computer. And agree, Here's to working together!

Today I received notification that you had transferred this memorial to me - but I am unsure why. I also received another transfer which I assume is because I sent an edit for that person. I have no connection or knowledge of Mrs. Ball so would rather leave her with someone who is closer . . . although I won't refuse the transfer if there's a good reason for it. Stephanie
