Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been adding older memorials in my area over the winter months and plan to go out, find and photograph them when it warms up. Any information you have to add to any of my memorials would be appreciated. I search the old newspapers for old obits. and also look up the death certificates, as sometimes the obit. does not give specific birthdates, parents, etc...this information is not always correct, but if it is there, I will list it and make a note where that info. came from. If you want me to add information or change anything, please list your source.

I have no problem with transfers if they are not related to me.

Any of my headstone photos may be used anywhere you'd like, I only ask that you give me credit for the photo.

Thanks.

Charles & Carrie Zeger
Hey Karen,

My Great Aunt Odetta came over and gave me some family pictures. Among them where pictures of Charles Irvin Zeger and his wife Carrie Blanche Culler.

Now I tend to crop the pictures to isolate the respective individual for grave memorials, but if you'd like I can email you the uncropped picture of them. I don't want to burden you with unwanted pictures, but Charles is Leslie's brother.

Let me know with your email included, or if you'd like to be more discrete you can email me. The email is on my page.

Thanks,

Kyler

The St. Louis branch is to what I am referring. I was aware there was damage to some records, but not the entirety of the World War I records.

I'll see what the officials can find. If I recover anything interesting I'll be sure to scan and email those to you!

Here in Franklin County all historic records are handled by the Franklin County Historical Society - Kittochtinny.

Hi Karen, I grew up in the house across from them. Mike and my Dad worked at Landis Tool In Waynesboro, rode to work together and were friends. Miss Ida and Miss Stella did not drive, go out in public, and would tell you they did not like people, or believe in God. We were the only family permitted to help them. Miss Stella had a radio (was a baseball junkie) so she got news. Didn't know much about Ed. I seem, to recall haring that he was divorced with a son. Remarried and came to live with them after her death, where he lived until he died. Talk was that his son came once just to view his possible inheritance, then came "swooping in" to claim their possessions and money after Miss Stella, the remaining one, died. I never really talked with Ed. He just sat on the front porch smiling, or waving, or said something about the weather.
