I was at the site of this cemetery last summer and I'm so grateful that the farmer has left what little there is there in regard to tombstones. It's just a pile of rocks now. However, there was one stone found earlier this year by the farmer at the edge of the cornfield of Mary C. Patterson.
I'm always happy to add extra information to the memorials that I enter.

Actually I didn't create the memorial, just contributed a photograph of the marker. Justin created the record. I think it was his grandfather that was (or may still be) the caretaker at Mt Sinai so he had access to the records.
I do have a lot of relatives there, so back in 2010 on a visit to the county, I photographed all of the cemetery and managed to pair up most of the photos with the records that Justin created from the burial info.

A cemetery employee showed me where John's burial site was, and as you suspected there is not a marker. The photo is where the site is located. Plot: Section 1, Block 45, Lot D, Sp. 11
