Finding Graves in Western Massachusetts and along any trails I am hiking.|
Using FamilySearch.org, FindAGrave.com, and TribalPages.com to try to get a complete family history. Following in the footsteps of my grandparents, who through their 50 years of genealogy research, were able to get our family tree back to the 1300's.
Feel free to message me with questions, or to request your family member's memorial.
I welcome edits! I am only human, so if you see that I have goofed on something, feel free to send me an edit, and I will fix it as soon as I can. Thank you for being polite! It is so rare nowadays.

I did a quick search of the burial cards, did not find her name. Checked the town lot cards an no luck either. Having said that, I will be meeting with the sexton of the cemetery and will review the records in detail. She is in the cemetery, it is a matter of where because all names have been entered and 60% of the cemetery has been photographed. All I ask is be patient with me as I search.
Do you happen to know if she could be buried in another family plot under a different name.

Hi...please use this site to obtain plot info ...it's a very large cemetery...if really important for your tree, you can call office for a few requests..Carol

I am about to post the photo of her marker. However, please be aware that I was unable to get the inscription itself due to the angle. I did peer underneath to verify that it is, indeed, her stone.

Your welcome. Finding Duff was quite a challenge. The Marker was completely covered over with turf. Marker was 8 inches under the surface and had to be dug out. This area in the cemetery is very difficult to find any grave. I hope that I have done justice to your request.

I just wanted to let you know that the photos I took have been uploaded! The tape on the placard was there when we arrived and was not placed there by us. I also uploaded a couple extra photos to show the location and the beauty. Thank you for allowing us to assist you. Have a wonderful day and God Bless

|Derek Wood||Alexander Conkey gravestone photo|
Hi there! Just a quick heads-up: your gravestone photo on the memorial page of my 6th great-grandfather Alexander Conkey (1721-?) is not his gravestone. Your photo is the gravestone of a different Alexander Conkey -- a nephew of my ancestor Alexander. Very easy mistake to make, since (as I'm finding out) the Conkeys kept giving their kids the same names for generation after generation.
The url of the memorial from which the photo should be removed is http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=83591407
The memorial page of the Alexander whose gravestone is shown in the photo is http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=65599071, if you want to upload it there.
Thanks for all your contributions to Find A Grave!

Willodean is still alive and well. You can probably get her phone number from the Thomasville (Clarke county) Alabama phone book and speak to her personally about your shared family history.

My name is Jodi and my dad is Charles Roy. My grandma was Mary Rolla Roy Sczygiel. I see you maintain many a Rolla site so I thought I would say hello. I've been researching on ancestry and am glad to have found this site. We especially loved the memorial on Grandpa Wladyslaw's page - thank you so much.
Dad and I would love to hear from you.
Glad to have helped :)
