I have been photographing gravestones for a few years. If I see a stone that interests me, I will stop and take a picture, no matter who it is. I like the natural play of light on a stone and try to find the light when it is at its best. I have 100's of photos, but just share the ones online that I find most connected to me, or perhaps that no one else has taken, or I think shows a better picture. I enjoy finding my own relatives and also like to share if I have found someone else's relatives. Please ask if you would like me to transfer a stone. If it isn't my relative, I would be glad to. Names I am interested in for myself include Stearns, Stone, Russell, Usher, Cleveland, Towne, Clapp, Clark, Morgan, Denison, Palmer, Hinsdale, Howland, Gorham, Cobleigh, Shaw, Emmons, Beard, Hall, Barton and Founds.|

Thank you, Barbara... no worries on giving you credit for the photo... I always give credit to the photographers... it is the pono (correct) thing to do.... someday I hope to get to that cemetery... Elizabeth is my 9X great grandmother...

Technically, I made the mistake since the other Ebenezer memorial existed before I made mine. Here is what should be done:
1) I delete my memorial [done]
2) I make the suggestion to the owner of the older memorial to link to Ebenezer's parents' memorials via the "edit" tab. [done]
3) You should link Susanna Russell Smith to the older memorial for Ebenezer.
Assuming the older memorial's owner links their Ebenezer to the parents then the generational linkage will be preserved. I don't see why they wouldn't.
As a safety you could note Susanna Russell Smith's grandparents' memorials (50647569 & 50647627) in her Bio section.
Take care and thanks for catching my mistake. I hate when I do that.

I just found your photo of Elizabethʻs grave stone on her find a grave memorial page. Thank you so much for posting it! She is my 9X great grandmother... may I use your photo on my private family tree? I always give credit to the photographers who generously allow me to use their photos... thank you very much.

Hi, Barbara. I sent an edit to your page on Elizabeth Goodridge, linking her to her father Ebenezer Goodrich (1749-1824). I am aware of the difference in ast names. That deviation in the spelling of the name "Goodridge" has appeared several times within the Goodridge family from Fitchburg, MA.

Thanks for the fast and positive reply. Your photo definitely should stay.

Thanks so much for posting the picture for Samuel Rice. It was pointed out to me though that there are two Samuel Rice's. This one died in 1805 and the other, Find A Grave #118565374, died in 1821 (your photo). Could you please remove your photo on this Samuel and post it on the other?
Again, thanks so much for your efforts.

Thanks for taking the time to photograph their headstone for me.

All set Barbara, I removed the memorial. Happy Thanksgiving! Jim

Thank you for moving her photo. I agree yours is much clearer. If I happen to take a photo and there is already one there but the photo was taken years ago when you could only add very small photos I will also add my photo. Denise.
