I've spent a lot of time in cemeteries over the years, hope to get lots of my stuff loaded and looking forward to being able to fulfill photo requests for others. |
Unless the memorial I created is for a family member I am more than happy to do a transfer, just ask.
"Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead, and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender mercies of its people, their respect for the laws of the land and their loyalty to high ideals." ~William Gladstone
Please follow Find A Grave policy when capturing images to post here, whether on my memorials or others. You can read the FAQ's to learn all about it but it boils down to this….
If you did not purchase the monument it is not yours….Do Not Touch It…… Do not put chalk, flour, shaving cream, or any other concoction you can think of on it.
These substances do irreparable harm, especially to the precious old ones.

Feel free to transfer this grave to me.
|Allene Brewer Rauh||Thank you|
Thanks for taking a picture of my cousin's grave. Find a grave has been such a help to all of us.
|Martha Berryman||Anding Graves|
Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures of the Anding graves. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. I left the original message (just to researchers are aware of the mixup) but added an update dated today. I also added a note to Henry's memorial indicating his death date is incorrect. -Cindy
You are very welcome
|None to be forgotten||Anna Sweet|
I received your notice of Anna's memorial as being a duplicate. The reason I created a "second" memorial for her was so that I could post the story about her death. I had requested this information be added to the original memorial and received no reply. Therefore, I will not be deleting mine. I have done this with a few others as requests made to correct information (such as surname misspellings, dates, family links) have been ignored - even by Find A Grave itself!
You have helped me so much with your memorials for the Kennon family who lived in and near Corning, Iowa. They are descendants of Isaac Kennan, brother of my ancestor, George Kennan. I have just begun researching Isaac's children. Thank you!
