I am an avid genealogist and am extremely interested in corresponding with other family researchers working on their various early TROUT lines (all spelling variations) arriving in America during the 1700s from Germany, England, and Canada. I take great pleasure in frequently assisting other TROUT researchers with their family lines.|

Absolutely. Thank you. This is for my own family tree, it will not be published but I do use all names and numbers involved in the Find A Grave posting.

Just uploaded a photo for Nathaniel, Ella, and Howard Trout. The opposite side of the stone lists Robert N. Trout (1930-1930). Would you like to create this memorial?

I am related to John Collins Jr, hence all Collins and associated families. May I take information and photo from your FindAGrave site? Thank you,

|Patti Johnson||RE: Flora CRAMER TROUT|
Flora's daughter, Mary Ann Trout, married an Ernest Scott, and had at least 2 sons with him.
1930 census/Harrisburg/Dauphin Co./Pennsylvania/Roll: 2026/ED: 0032/Page: 8B
Household Members: Name Age
Flora M Grady/Head/49
David R Trout/Son/25
David R Scott/Grandson/4yrs-1mo
Joan M Trout/Granddaughter/9mos
By the time Mary Ann's Half Brother, Lt. Donald F. Grady was killed in action on 16 April 1944,
Mary Ann was married to Charles W. Schmittel.
So, the SCOTT surname is part of the Trout genealogy. God Bless. Patti

I've been populating my whole tree, where possible, over the past month.
I love Find A Grave, and retirement!:)
|Kathleen Hill||RE: Lucinda HAMONTREE BLACK TROUTT|
Thanks for your very prompt response to my suggestions.
I have seen many Family Trees on ancestry that claim Lucy married Henry Black in Sumner Co., TN - of course offering no proof. Serious researchers need to know that they married in RHEA Co., TN, so that they can continue their search for both Lucy and Henry's parents, etc.
I think Find A Grave is a wonderful tool in our quest for ancestors and family history.
Keep up the good work.

Glad to be of help. There are a lot of Trout family members in Mount Peace, many without any memorial pages. I might not have seen them all but I took pictures of any I saw while I was looking for other stones. - JohnF

No problem, Craig. I thought I'd bring it to your attention.
|Gwen||William Pickney Trout|
I have just stumbled upon William Pickney Trout's Civil War Service Information as I was working through Jacob Uriah Trout's widow's pension application. According to records on Fold3.com, W.P. Trout enlisted 12 th Regiment TN Infantry. Enlisted by J.F. Williams on 7 December 1861 in "Newburn", Tennessee. As this is the same regiment to which his brother, Jacob belonged, I believe this is the correct W.P. Trout.
By the way, according to the Pension application, Jacob Uriah Trout died in Crawford County, Arkansas in 1890.
Gwen-[My Grand Aunt Mary Loggins married Wiley Sain Trout's son, Avey.
