My maternal side of the family has been researched, traced back to England, and published. My paternal side has, to my knowledge, never been documented. As a matter of fact, we were always told the "records were lost". Since genealogy is apparently in my blood, I decided to embark on the journey to discover the true history of the family I really never knew too well. I am researching the following surnames in Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Tennessee...so far...: Marshall, Belt, Russell, Bolt, and Bell. I hope to preserve this heritage for my two wonderful children Michael James Wellman and Ariel Raquel Wellman.|

Charlotte, I tried your email but will not go through. Is there any chance that Lena Marshall lived in Red River, NM around 1925?

Tress Allen Marshall is my husband's father. His grandparents were tress and Kate. Maybe we can help each other! I'm trying to put together a tree for my two girls.

I noticed that you left a bouquet on the Memorial of Mary Ann Marshall. I believe her to be the sister, Mary Ann Richardson called "Mannie", of my grandfather James Claude Richardson. If you know or think this is the case, I'd appreciate a note of confirmation. I can help you with the Richardson family if you're interested. Frank

I seen you had left a candle for John Marshall and Simon C. Marshall buried at Oakhill Cem. Both are from my direct line of Marshall. Both were sons of Simon Marshall and Mary Berry Marshall from Muskingum Co. Ohio, then moved to Warrick County Indiana. They had brother James who moved to Texas. I can help with this line if you think you may be related. Thanks, Joan Marshall Sauter

I noticed you are researching the Marshall family and that you had a memorial on Louis Marshall in Alabama. His sister, Catherine (named after their mother) is my direct line. Many of the Marshall's (formerly Marshcall) lived in Chicago, Cook County, IL. The mother Catherine Schneider Marschall Rebmann is buried in Chicago.
Catherine Schneider married Jacob Marschall in Bavaria and later married Henry Rebmann before the family emmigrated from Bavaria to the US.Their daughter and Louis's older sister Catherine "Kate" Marshall is my direct line. Catherine and their mother Catherine are both buried in the historic Graceland Cemetery in Chicago. My grandmother remembers her great-grandmother "Kate" quite well, as Catherine "Kate" Marshall Sherman lived to be 91. My grandmother said that they were extremely proud to be Bavarian and were a close family. Catherine Marshall, Louis;s sister, married Dennis S Scherman in Chicago. They had several children, the youngest of which was my g-g grandmother, Lottie Sherman.
I hope this helps. You probably have all of this information already, but if I can be of any further help, please let me know.

Harold Bernard Marshall is my husbands former in Law we all called him Pappy.
I called our son who is his Grand Son and he was o surprised to think I went back and found his Mother side of the Family. All the years known them no one talked about Nathan and Louis ..... wonder why.
Harold ended up in California with his former Wife Ruth K. McKay. They sadly have both passed as have 3 of there 6 children.
How are you connected, glad to share the part I know.

If you are interested, I can provide you with the information for Minnie from her long stay at the Delaware State (Mental) Hospital, ending with her death in 1924.
There are plans to erect a monument at the cemetery listing all the names and grave marker #s for the people buried there. The dedication ceremony will be in May of 2016, probably the first or second week (the 6th or the 9th).
Anyone who has left any sort of comment, flowers, info, etc. on the findagrave.com site for someone buried in the hospital cemetery will be getting an invitation, if we have contact info.
Contact me if you would like more information, citing Case #30500667

Hello Ann, i saw some flowers you left for Stella Berger Marshall and her daughter Virginia. They are (distant) relatives of mine. So i ask you if you are able to provide some information about Stella and her family tree, e.g. her father Henry or her mother Fannie, nee Goodkind. I am able to share information back to 1796.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
