Rachel Fisher Hoover
I noticed on that you had requested a photo of the grave of Rachel Meredith Fisher who I believe is the mother of Rachel Fisher Hoover who married Jacob Hoover.

Jacob/Rachel were the parents of my ancestor, William Hoover who married Elizabeth Salsgiver of Indiana County, PA.

Are we related????

Higgins cemetery request
I would love to fulfill this request. However, if you look at the cemetery information, you'll notice that this is a disturbed cemetery, and that all of the headstones that could be photographed have been, already. I know that's disappointing, but there is nothing I or any other Find A Grave volunteer can do to bring the condition of the cemetery back. I hope you will just delete your request. Karen

You very welcome. Your uncle is buried right near a big fir tree. This cemetery is on top of what is called Mt Scott in SE Portland area. There are some pretty awesome views from up on this "mount". You can see downtown Portland several miles off in the distance in some places from here and you can see out over SE Portland. There are also some really great views of Mt St Helens and Mt Hood too.
