Live in the U.S.A. in the western part of Massachusetts. Graduated from American International College in Springfield with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Love nature, classic movies, World War II fighter aircraft, 1950 & 1960's cars, and, respect principled people with "character" and conviction. Thank you, very kindly, for visiting my Son's memorial, for the cute token, and beautiful sympathy words you wrote. May God bless and protect your son, and may he spare you and your family from going through the pain my family and I have gone endured. Although his memorial is quite long, I didn't write nearly everything about David. Yet, It really moved me that you understood the potential in my son. He was, among other things, an inventor, a writer, and wanted to become a nurse. He felt that male nurses were very much needed in hospitals, yet there were not nearly enough of them. He was so busy receiving out training out of town for his promotions at work, he was also building a relationship with a new girl, and then came his illness. A lot was going on in his life, thus he wasn't able to make it to nursing school. All he wanted to do was to help people.
I don't know if I'll ever get over losing my wonderful son, but I hope one day I can learn to live with this. It's been tough on me, since I've lost all the elders in my family; my parents, godmother, uncles and aunts. Thus, I've had to deal with this loss and sorrow basically on my own. Again, Frank, thanks so much for your kind and caring words. I hope you don't mind, but I've added you to my friend's list. I'll be visiting the wonderful people you mention on your page. Hi, Frank - Thank You so much for stopping at Robin's page for his birthday! And I love the token - I have always felt that Robin was so overlooked regarding his acting talent; I think that he was almost shuffed into a corner because of all the British actors around during his time in the industry...and it always bugs me, because he was a Welsh actor, just like Richard Burton, and not the all sweeping description, a Brit. You can tell that I have Welsh ties, and want to give credit where it's due, ey? ha! Thanks for the come back. You sound like a great person to know. Everything you said made sense to me, right on. There are not many Italian-American's here in Seattle. Could be many reasons. I am just happy and fortunate to have my grandparents relatively clean genes...I am the youngest of my family on both sides, so I caught the tail end of some of those old fashioned genes. | Italian decent
I like the way you indicate you are of "Italian Decent" when you left a token to my grandmothrs grave. I am 50% Italian, meaning, both my grandparents on my fathers side came from Italy. But some folks look to label or define you based on your look or name. People think I am from Italy. I'm proud American as were my parents, but folks still say I'm Italian. When i was in Europe, I mention to some people there I am Italian. They quickly point out I am not Italian, but American. Many Americans don't know what AMerican is.
