Thank you and thanks for transferring them. It is an amazing story. The other two siblings went to a grandma who already had 9 of her own children and was a widow twice! Pretty amazing any of them made it. Thanks again

Hello, my name is Cindy and I see you have two memorials on Find A Grave. Goldie (Bruce) Thompson #129903122 and Isabelle Thompson #129903217. Bruce was my grandmothers brother. I did add a couple of photos that I have of my Grandma Doris and Bruce when they were babies. I also linked their parents. Below is a bio I am requesting that you add on both Bruce and Isabelle. I know I keep referring to him as Bruce when his grave says Goldie, but his legal name was Bruce Goldie and all of the family called him Bruce. His dads name was Golden. Bruce, my grandmother and their other two siblings had a rough start in this world as you will read in his bio. I appreciate you adding and thank you for taking the photos of their gravesites.

Bruce's bio

1906 Mamie Rebecca McIntosh married Golden Thompson. Golden was a businessman having stores in various places and they homesteaded in Montana. They had four children, Doris Naomi Thompson 08/20/1907, Bruce Goldie Thompson 11/5/1908, Dale Lawrence Thompson 01/24/1912 and Phoebe Ann 04/05/1918. Mamie was expecting her fifth child in 1919 when a flu epidemic swept through the area. The baby and Mamie both died during childbirth. The four children were left orphaned since their father Golden said to have went to pieces and disappeared from their lives and was never heard from again. After his death his oldest daughter Doris received notification that he had died in Los Angeles County in 1941 after having bladder surgery. His death certificate gave his age as 62 years. The four orphaned children were taken in by their grandmothers. Doris and Bruce went to live with Sarah Turner-Thompson-Lewis (their fatherís mother) in Lima, MT. Dale and Phoebe went to live with their other grandmother Sarah Thompson-Lewis, their motherís mother in Hinsdale, MT.

After a short stay with his grandmother Sarah and due to her illness he was given a train ticket to get to his other grandmother Mary McIntosh but knowing she was trying to raise 10-11 children including his brother Dale and sister Phoebe he took a job in Baylor, MT on a ranch at age 14. Bruce quickly learned he was a natural mechanic and went to Anaconda and repaired buses for the lines that carried crews to the smelter. He met a Scottish girl Isabelle Gordon Lochire and they married on June 29, 1929. Together they had two children. Myrtle Gordon born 1932 and Bruce Gordon Thompson born 1934.

Bruce and Isabelle had a long and happy marriage of over 50 years. They settled in Anaconda and Bruce built them a beautiful home in the West Valley. Isabelle passed away on May 30, 1983.

The Tracy Family of Stow
Thank you so much for catching the error in cemetery placement for Violet and Bill. I have NO idea how I did that. I greatly appreciate your correction.

Lillian Raricks
I noticed that you put in a memorial for Lillian Raricks buried at Ashebury cemetery. I'm trying to find any information on her as I believe she could be my great great grandmother. Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

RE: Edward Reaves Death
Hi, Diane

No, I wasn't at my great grandparents' home (Edgar and Callie Reaves) when Uncle Ed died, I was at my grandparents' home. My grandmother, Veda Belle Reaves Humphries was Ed's sister.

Thanks for the other info on research sites. Will have to take a look later today.

RE: Headstone Photos
Since I created the find-a-grave memorials for these individuals, I will add a link to their memorial to that person's profile page in Ancestry, as you suggested.
