 | RE: Thank You Nora, I can send you a book if you want it. The cost is $20.00 plus a few bucks for shipping, I don't know what that is at the moment. E-mail me your address and I will do that for you. The book is nothing but information I have collected for that cemetery. I have taken thousands of photos, but, do not have them on a disk for sale. If you want any in particular, I would be glad to e-mail you a copy of the photo. I have surveyed several other Black cemeteries in the area as well. It seems like they just don't get the attention needed. Bonnie | | | Bonnie Goodman
 | RE: Thank You Nora, You are very welcome. It was a lot of hard work. I put together a book on that cemetery if you are interested in it. It is available at the Morgan County Archives or at Bank Street Antiques. I have listed all of the people that I can find buried on the cemetery and photographed them as well. I have added bits of info on many people like the spouse, parents and inscriptions on the headstones. Military men and women are printed in red. This book is full of good information on my favorite cemetery in Decatur. | | | Jennie
 | RE: OOPS!!! Great. There were several who helped with this project, I input the data and Bonnie offered to post the pics. That's why in some instances you see pics taken by others and then those that Bonnie posted. My name is Peggy Towns, I just use "Jennie" Blessings!Added by Jennie on Mar 13, 2013 9:50 AM | | | Mike Dearbaugh

 | Parks Nora,
Mary Lou Frances Hicks married Curtis Common Parks on Dec 22 1904. I have her buried at Mulberry Cemetery in Lincoln Co., Tn. You have added # 93338154, Brit Parks, as a husband. Could you please remove him as she was never married to him. His wife may have been a lady named Mary, but it is not this Mary. Also you have added 2 children, daughters, Sallie May Parks #93339005 and Florence Parks # 93339297. These are also not her children. I think they may have been the children of Brit Parks but Mary Frances is not his wife nor the mother of these two girls. I know these facts are true because Mary Frances Hicks Parks is a first cousin of mine.
Thanks so much for your help, Jan Hardin | | | Linda Isom Turk
