The farther back we look, the farther forward we are likely to see. Venerating those that have gone before.

My husband and I are from Moline, IL originally. We currently live in central Illinois. I have family in the Quad City area, southern IL, western KY, western IN and SW Missouri so we are often in these areas and able to take cemetery pictures. | |

 | RE: 61116665-George Owen If you will use the "Edit/Suggest a correction..." procedure to make it easy to access George's memorial, I will be glad to transfer him to you. It's just something that you should get used to doing. Paul | | | Vickye Blatherwick

 | John Folkerf (Folkers) Hi Tammy, Thanks so much for posting his memorial in Old West Cemetery... with that goofy spelling on his stone its amazing I found him. He is John Herman Folkers, son of Siebelt Folkers #29671526 and Gretje "Gertrude" Backer # 29671537. He married Mary Blessing first, and Sarah Kelley second. Can you please link him to his parents?
If you would rather transfer him my number is 47416912.
Just one more request , do you mind if I post the photo of his headstone to my family tree on Ancestry.com. I will add your photo credit to it of course. Please let me know , if I do not hear from you will assume you don't mind. Thanks again.

 | RE: photos I never took any photos off of Ancestry. If you take a good look at them you will see they are not the same photo. I took the photo when I was at the cemetery. If you would like me to delete the photos I will. I'm not even related to this family. | | | Chip & Chandra Hainline
 | RE: Mary Bennett Pam, Nice to meet you. I guess we would be "cousins" of some sort. Thank you for making those corrections. Mary's father, Royal Scott, was my 3rd great grand uncle. I am trying to find out as much as I can about the Scott's. There are no photos or anything of my ancestors in our family, pretty sad. Anyways, thank you again for updating Mary's memorial. Sincerely, Chandra (Scott) Hainline | | | Judi Pegg
 | RE: Riverside Cemetery, Moline Thank you Pammy, On Find A grave is it just one cemetery? If so then I will put a few people on there as being buried in Riverside Cemetery and make a note that they are buried in the "Old" section. Thank you, Judi in Missouri | | | Judi Pegg
 | Riverside Cemetery, Moline I noticed that you put the photo of the cemetery on Find A Grave, and I am hoping that perhaps you can answer a question for me. Is "Old Riverside" and Riverside cemetery considered the same on Find A Grave? I don't see "Old Riverside" listed and I want to be sure that they are the same before I add names to the cemetery. Thank you! Judi in Missouri | | | C. Ann Carruthers
 | Thomas Cogdal Thank you for letting me know about the condition of the cemetery. | | | | [View all messages...] |
