I have been researching the families of my wife and mine for about thirty years. It is great to learn about family and their migrations. |
If anyone finds mistakes on my entries or would like to add information, please contact me. I have been going to cemeteries in my area and have been entering photos and info so many of my entries aren't family. It is always great to meet new family and friends.
Barton/Lambert/Goforth/Schooley/White/Miller/ Dunn/Massie/Eggers research is in IL, IA, IN, KY, ENG, MA, DE.
My wife's family
Gibson/McCandless/Turner/Dunn/Ramsey/Brammer/McCully/Wilson genealogy research is in MO, TN, PA, IN.
My wife and I have four children and nine grandchildren which makes our life very enjoyable and now we are blessed with seven great grandchildren. Besides searching for our family, I enjoy wood carving.
The Good Lord has blessed me in many ways!
Remember, "No one is truly gone, until they are forgotten".
With the memorials I have set up, if you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can get them corrected. I'm not perfect, but I strive for perfection in all that I try to do on Find A Grave.
When requesting links, please give me the name of the person plus the ID number. This insures I link the correct person, mother, father or spouse.
On ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, LINKS or TRANSFERS for any Memorial, PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON and Suggest A Correction or provide additional information. Any of the above posted on my message board will be ignored and deleted.
IN OTHER WORDS, SEND A SAC! Please, no bulk transfer requests!
I will be happy to transfer to a relative if it is within the Find A Grave guidelines, otherwise it will be at my discretion. Please state your relationship of the memorial you want transferred. Just saying they are family is not acceptable.
We want the memorials of those we loved to be as nice as possible.
My Hotmail account is down. Please send all messages to (firstname.lastname@example.org) until further notice.

Sorry. If you are not related to Ida Anna Rowden Barton, then there is no connection. Best of luck to you.
|Gary G. Rowden||Rowden Family|
Well, Leon, you have a new family member greeting you. I am presently researching Rowdens in Ohio, KS, MO, AR, and TX. Too many greats to tell you here but the Rowdens married Bartons (Helen Leggitt Rowden and daughter Ida Anna Rowden). My Rowden tree is private on ancestry.com but I can send you an invite if you are interested. From all that I can see, you have been a very busy man documenting. Contact: email@example.com or Gary G. Rowden on FB. I would like to add you to my F/G Friends and you can add me if you choose.
|Norman Cross||RE: Arthur Creason|
I was thinking, his great granddaughter and a couple of others said his nickname was "Ott", maybe the carver was meant to inscribe an O but put a D by mistake (similar in shape), but who knows?
|Karma W.||Johnie Gibson|
All the information I have (two sources from Gibson relatives) tells me that there were TWINS stillborn. Their names were Lonnie and Donnie. Where did your information come from? I don't believe there is a stone in the Huntsville Cemetery. Thank you.

|L Nystrom||Wells Family|
Thank you for linking James, Oddlie and Alfred to their father. It is so nice to see families linked together once again. All you hard work is much appreciated on this wonderful website. Thanks again
|Michael Hampton||RE: Willie Hampton|
Thanks for making the additions to Willie Hampton. People working together is the only way we can make things easer on all.
|Becky Martin||RE: Robert Francis Dunn|
My husband is distantly related via Robert Francis Dunn's wife Margaret Ellen McKissick. This narrows our Dunn connection to their family and descendants. If this fits your family I'd be happy to share info.
|in memory of grandma||PS..|
I just love the new edit feature now that they have added it for family links. That is a big chunk of what I find myself doing...
|in memory of grandma||Charles Wayne "Chuck" Reist|
Thanks for hooking him up with his dad. (Sorry, I haven't found info about his mother's location.)
It amazes me that when I'm working on another part of the state, I don't think our paths will cross. then I find connections again in western Kansas where you have memorials.
Case in point, this man is related to Julius F. Smith also in that same cemetery. Julius's maternal grandmother, Nettie Jane (Jenkins) Cross was a sister to Ella Mable (Jenkins) Reist who was Chuck's paternal grandmother. Hopefully, they knew of each other...
