GENEALOGY has been in my life for over 40 years. Putting Madison County graves and photos on Findagrave is my personal goal. Findagrave is an awesome database. If you are close kin to anyone whose grave I photographed and wish to "manage it" please notify me. I will ask for your relationship so have your genealogy handy. Corrections and/or additions are also appreciated. I also appreciate any additional information about infant graves.(i.e. who are/were their parents)|
Hoping this site has aided you in your genealogy.:)

Hi, again Melody,
I am wondering if you might have any information about Rosa Hogans sisters, specifically Burline Dismukes, who married John Eagle, and the less well known Julie/Julia Ann Dismukes, who first married Henry Stacy, then later John Swiney. I lose track of both women in Arkansas, although I find thier children later, the mothers are not residing with the adult children, as is sometimes the case.
Any information, clues or hints would be deeply appreciated!
Happy, Happy Christmas, to You, and Your Family!

It's my pleasure, Melody!
I have been tracking my own, as well as affiliated family members, and am so grateful to the fine folks, such as yourself, who create these wonderful memorials. I really enjoy sharing my research info., and "connecting - the - dots," when I find the individuals to whom the information belongs!
Thanks Again, and Warmest Regards,

Thank you for being so kind.

I would like to have your permission to use your photo on my ancestry tree. I will be sure to give you credit for it.
I am a landman working in Madison Co. and am trying to find the heirs of J.E. Darter. If you have any information please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

Do you know who her husband was?
I am related to Lizzie thru her uncle John Allen Colwell; Jim C. (Newton) Colwell brother.

Sorry about having his dad wrong
You are very welcome. It took a bit of walking, but it was a lovely day in the old cemetery. Cool and cloudy with wind blowing the leaves around.

I note we are both working the Simmons Cemetery. Thank you for your great contributions to a cemetery that I am sentimentally, though not physically, close to. If you created a memorial and want to manage it please keep it. I have gone through the entire cemetery and have commented on those additions or corrections needed from the contents of the gravestones. I knew many of those buried there but not all of them. I work well with fellow Findagravers. I am not looking for memorials to manage but will manage any I need to.
E-mail me at email@example.com and we can discuss Simmons in greater detail. I am writing a history of an area called the Simmons Survey that includes the Simmons Cemetery. My goal is to record everyone who ever lived in the Simmons Survey.
I am hoping some relatives of those buried in the Simmons and White Creek cemeteries will get in touch with me. I grew up in the White Creek Community and went to Church in the Simmons Community. These Two communities plus the Mountain View Community make up the Simmons Survey, once a large South Texas ranch.
