Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have worked on my family tree since I was 19 years old. Love the searching, researching, grave-walking, and talking with others who like searching for their ancestors! My favorite:

Dear Ancestor,

Your tombstone stands among the rest:
Neglected and alone,
The name and date are chiseled out -
on polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care,
It is too late to mourn -
You did not know that I exist,
You died and I was born.
Yet, each of us are cells of you:
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse -
entirely not our own.
Dear ancestor, the place you filled,
a hundred years ago -
Spreads out among the ones you left,
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew -
That some day I would find the spot;
And come and visit you?

Do you know where Mary Ophelia Morgan McCullough is buried? She was the wife of Giles?

RE: Miss Joe Berry - Clifton Cem.
I was wondering if you noticed a stone for Joanna Berry's father, Joseph George Berry? He was suppose to have died in 1894 and is listed as being in Clifton Cemetery. -- dennis

Thank You
I appreciate some new information that you posted. Taking the picture of David Hugh Brown in the Fish Trapp Cemetery was a pleasant surprise...David Hugh is my great-grandfather who died young. Everyone had him listed as dying in Alabama, which I believed was wrong but had no proof...and a very different death this was a fantastic I need to find his wife Nancy Ann Tipton Brown's marker...she married another man by the name of Comings..or Cummings...but so grateful to you for this gift!

Scott McMillan
Hi...looking for headstones in Rochelle
Hi, Cheryle...My long journey of family history has brought me to Lawrence County, TN. A family Bible in the family for generations says that William McMillan and Mary Elizabeth Shelton McMillan are buried here (they were married). We are trying to find them, then go from there.

I live in North Texas and have been tracking our McMillan family tree with a cousin in Louisiana for several years...She says that she has been to Rochelle (7-8 years ago) and was not able to find those descendants. Obviously, her knowledge of the cemetery is not as extensive as yours. Do their names ring a bell? My research indicates that they lived around 1857-1912 (William). Can you help?
