Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was bitten by the genealogy bug over 40 years ago and have never tired of it. I was born in MI and lived in several areas of the state. I moved to northeast AR in 1985 where I remain an active genealogist.

If I have created a memorial for your family member I will be happy to transfer it to you. Also you may use any photo that I have taken without restriction.

When I was a girl of about 10 it was a fad to have an autograph book, the book is long lost but one verse has always stayed with me, and I have tried to live by it ...

"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." Stephen Grellet

Dear Ms. Whitten,

Thank you for posting the pictures of my great grandparents. I don't get on this site very much anymore. It's been years since I've been here. To be hurts too much some days. I miss them so much.

I appreciate your kindness. God bless you and yours.

Joyce, what a wonderful attitude and philosophy on life you have. Thank you, thank you for your work with Find A Grave, helping others find their families. And a special thanks for allowing us to use copies of your photos. I am trying so very hard to get as much of my family history as I can on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker for my descendants and others who are interested to know their heritage. I started on this journey back in the eary 80's and have steadily worked. Of course for a long time I was helping earn a living for my family and this was a side line. After I retired it became a major job to me. Thank you for helping me and others and God bless you in all that you do.
