I was bitten by the genealogy bug over 40 years ago and have never tired of it. I was born in MI and lived in several areas of the state. I moved to northeast AR in 1985 where I remain an active genealogist.|
I have photographed all of the markers (prior to 2005) in the following cemeteries in the eastern half of Craighead Co. AR: Black Oak, Burrow, Caraway, Lower Cain Island, Macey, Mangrum, Monette and Upper Cain Island. I keep getting requests for cemeteries in Greene county which I am unable to fulfill, please understand that I do not live in Greene Co. and am unable to physically walk these cemeteries due to health issues.
If I have created a memorial for your family member I will be happy to transfer it to you. Also you may use any photo that I have taken without restriction.
When I was a girl of about 10 it was a fad to have an autograph book, the book is long lost but one verse has always stayed with me, and I have tried to live by it ...
"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." ¯ Stephen Grellet

|<3 from Michigan||RE: Harrier graves at Beebe Cemetery|
Absolutely you can use the photos in any way you wish. No credit is needed either, we took them for you! By the way, we also took photos of Elmer, Lena, Donald, & Ruth Harrier since they are all in the same large plot with with William & Nancy. Please feel free to use any or all of them in whatever way you wish :)

|C.C.Diamond||RE: ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
Thank you for the name. We will add him to our list. It is not required they be on Find A Grave, just served in the military, peace or war time and be buried at Westlawn-Hillcrest.
Please let others know of this project sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326. The more people that know about it, the more complete our list will be. We know many that served in the military have no indication of their service on their grave.

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

|Pam Morton||RE: Harrison Columbus Lee & Wife|
Thank you VERY MUCH for doing this for me!
There are a lot of my relatives buried in that cemetery. My mother (Jeanette Lee) calls it the family cemetery. My grandparents, great-grandparents, and more are there. Please accept my apologies for not replying to you sooner. I'm not on here very much anymore. Again, thank you for posting anything and everything regarding my grandparents burial site.
Doris Azalea Jones Lee--grandmother
Mitchell Columbus Lee--grandfather
H. C. Lee--great-grandfather
Berry Jones--great grandfather
and I only knew her as Grandma Jones--step-grandmother.
My grandmothers mother--Doris' mother--was named Amanda Jones. I believe she is buried there too. She was married to Berry Jones. They got into an argument one day while she was hoeing in her garden. I believe he wanted her to come in because it was too hot. She refused. She died a short time later in that garden from a heat stroke. She wasn't very old.
|Pam Hall||Gordon Bishop|
I have made the family link to Gordon's mother that you requested. If you are related, I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you.
