|I am an amateur genealogist, studying to become a professional. I believe that it is more important than ever in this day and age to preserve our history for future generations. If I have a memorial that has been created that is part of your immediate family that falls within the Find-a-Grave guidelines, just drop me a note and I will be happy to transfer it. All I ask is that you maintain the memorial and, if you can, add to the information so that it is not lost to future generations. Or, if you prefer, I will continue the maintenance if you wish to transmit information to me. (Note: I am usually related in some way, shape, or form to the folks whose memorials I manage, so I strictly follow the Find-a-Grave guidelines with regard to memorial transfers. However, there are a token few that I manage to which I don't have family ties. On these rare occasions, I would be perfectly willing to transfer management of those memorials to family members, however near or distant. Feel free to drop me a line and ask.) |
I live in Lake County, Indiana and would be willing to take pictures within Lake, Porter, or LaPorte Counties. I am currently physically handicapped, so it might take a few weeks to honor your request, but I will do my best. Any information that you can give me in regards to the location of the cemetery and your loved one in it would be greatly appreciated at the time of your request. Thank you and God Bless!

I linked her, and requested links for most of her siblings, to her parents. If you go to the free site Family Search you may be able to locate where her sister, Frances Hammond Piatt Gordon(1915-1994) is buried and build a memorial for her. They have more detailed NC death certificates than Ancestry from 1976-1994. I would normally do it, but am having browser issues. Thanks !!
|Michael Gompert||Ashbrook Family|
Hi, I have connected the Ashbrook's and was wondering if you have the full birth and death dates of Lee and his parents. If you do, I would be happy to add them to their memorial sites.
|Jo Anne (Neely) Gomez||Walcy Belle (Little) & Robert Lawrence "Lowe" McElvany|
Thank you for pointing out I had them at the wrong cemetery, you are right they are both at Prague Cemetery not Oakdale in Paden - I have corrected the error though they're both now listed twice in Prague. Walcy was my great aunt, her sister was my grandmother Evaline Matilda (Little) Neely and Uncle Lowe was almost like a father to my dad as my grandfather died when my dad was very young. Walcy and Eva's father and mother are buried in Oakdale and their grandfather at Prague. My email is email@example.com
|Scrappy||Martha C Malone|
This lady was ninty two years old when she died, and I think she is the wife of Martin so I changed her name to Martha C Malone tubbbs. Not sure where I got the information about her last name, I am sure someone sent it to me.
I guess well will have to find out who this obit belongs to.
Respectfully, Martha Ann Mitchell Tubbs is not the wife of Martin G Tubbs. Martin's wife is Martha C. "Mattie" Malone Tubbs. This is supported by her death certificate, which indicates her father's name as Eddie Malone. She died in Mar of 1945, and she was 92 years old at the time of her death. Also, if you will note, her tombstone does indicate a middle initial of C. These folks were distant cousins of mine, and I have been researching the tree and collaborating with cousins for some time. Also, according to Amos Houston's death certificate, it lists his mother as Martha C Malone.
Not sure to which Tubbs Martha Ann Mitchell belongs. If I can match Martha Ann, who passed when she was in her 70's according to the newspaper article, I will let you know, and hopefully we can get the lines untangled.
Thank you for your time.
