As far as genealogy is concerned, I guess I'm a "newbie" started in 2005. My mother died in April, my step father died in July, and my sister died in October all in 2005. It finally dawned on me that all my history was gone. I've found some great people out there willing to help me to put my "tree" together. I want to give back as much as I've gotten. I take pictures of headstones in cemeteries that I visit and intend to do more. I want to share those photos with anyone who wants to use them. |
If I've input some of your family and they are not relatives of mine, I'll gladly transfer them to you. If you just want some links added, just ask. I love doing that. Please use the edit tab on the memorial page to make your suggestions. The common courtesy of asking for changes and links instead of demanding is appreciated.
...And please send your contributor #.
Oh, and BTW, see the new EDIT tab at the top of your own contributor page. The edit tab is a list of corrections or additions that someone else has found on memorials that you have created. Please look at this tab and process the ones listed for you. This is one of best "team" projects for genealogy. Let's all contribute the little pieces of information that everyone else may not have. IT'S ALL IMPORTANT.

I don't show a William. The kids I found were Lucinda C., Jesse L.C., Mary, and John. It would be nice to get as many as you can linked. Thomas was a grandfather of mine (Matilda Carolyn Heatherly Pace that married John C Pace. Thanks.

You are welcome, I know they are in loving hands.

Thank you for your sweet and kind help of linking family together.

Ok, I went back and found the edit button you were talking about and added Mr. Sticher`s first name. This just seems a little redundant, adding another step to get something added or changed, and will now further limit the internet time I can spend. I know, its not your rules, just venting here, and this is just MHO. Now, after going back and adding another step, after correcting just two requests, my body is forcing me to stop for now, against my wishes. But the main thing is, his first name was added, which I finally figured out was the main thing, so I`m glad that was able to be taken care of.

Is there any in particular that you need me to verify? I am disabled, and most times am very limited as to the time I can spend on the internet, in particular, on Find A Grave. I really miss this, as before becoming disabled, I spent a lot of time adding/changing/correcting things, as available, and as needed. Still, with what little time I have available, I like to do things "right", and am a "stickler" for detail, or as much as I can be now. It may take a while for me to correct or edit what you need, but I will try my best.

Learn something new everyday. I didn't know about the edits tab until you asked me to process them.

You have a "?" after the name of her father, Ola Addison Bayless. Yes, Ola was his first name.

I transferred several Brown members to you, if you see any others you might want, just let me know.
Have a blessed week,

Thank you VERY MUCH for the transfers. I tend to agree about friends, of course with a few exceptions. I will treasure them and relinquish them to family, if necessary. Are you familiar with the Gates area? I'm wondering whom I might contact about Marjorie's Griffin family. There's one other Griffin listed in that cemetery, with no hint of kinship.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I knew they had changed the edit format, but I did not know about the edit tab for my memorials. Your recommended edit and the others have been accepted.
